This little ting is great, fast and very portable.

I've only had this for a month, but so far works as expected. I was flipping between this and the Sandisk, but chose this solely based on sale price. I think the Samsung was about $10 cheaper. Both had great reviews, so it was down to price. I bought a very cheap case from Amazon to keep it protected and hold cables as well. It's small and lightweight.

I have had other external drives and this one has a far better system of easy plug and play. It basically works like a flash drive. I plugged it in clicked on the drive and drag and dropped. Easy and efficient and the actual hard drive is very compact and seems pretty solid. It comes with 2 cables. I have only used it on my laptop so far but it says android ready.

I bought this external SSD to improve the performance of my virtual machines which were previously stored on a regular disk. It works great, even with multiple VMs running at the same time. The device is small and portable with much better durability than a mechanical disk. Also has built-in hardware encryption for a good level of security in case it's lost or stolen.

The only thing that stops me from giving it a five star rating, is the fact that you have to download the software on your computer, or device before using it. So far I got it to work fine on my computer, but I'm still having a hard time trying to figure out how to get it to work on my Galaxy Note 8. Overall, It's a really fast portable ssd and I still love it.

great little source for portable storage. Solid state so access to files is very quick. I use one for various and occasional needs so my laptop doesn't get overly full. I use others for additional backup for my critical files and photos. Nice sized data in a nice sized physical package.

Upon unboxing (4 months after purchase), it was a non-starter, asking immediately for a password! I hadn't even intended to give it a password. After some back and forth with Samsung service, I was finally talking to the right person, who sent me some software to download to reset to factory. Once that happened, the drive became amazing--fast and BIG for such a small physical thing. 500GB, smaller than a credit card and some thicker. It's even pretty! What I determined it that it was either a reconditioned unit, or returned purchase that someone had already set up with password. If you PW this, you must enter the pw every time. Other than being upset that BestBuy sold it without either marking as reconditioned or as a resell (without checking it out), was frustrating. I did speak to a GeekSquad manager, relayed my frustrations (time and miles), and feel I was heard. Hope this doesn't happen to another as it lost some of it's shiny new object enthusiasm until it became usable. Now, I love it. My "ease of use 5-star" is for AFTER the efforts.

I got this initially for my console gaming and it’s works very well with high speeds, but it’s great fast storage for computers as well. I used it for my MacBook and it works great on there as well. You do have to reformat it for gaming, but the console did that for me. Comes with USBC and a USB cables.

This drive is amazingly quick and extremely quiet. It came already formatted and worked great on my iMac

This is exactly what I needed for additional security and backups of my MacBook Pro. With the USB-C connection/cable I don't need any additional plugs or dongles. Great color and small/light enough I don't even notice its in my bag. A home run especially if you can get it on sale!
