I was a little skeptical going from a 32inch curved to this 27inch curved monitor after knocking mine over and busting the screen. The 32 inch wasnt in stock so i took my chances on the 27in because i wanted something i could pick up same day. WHen i got the monitor set up and started playing some games, i realized that my 32in curved monitor was way too big. This monitor is the perfect size and looks great. One of the reasons mine tipped over was because the base of it was unstable. That is not a concern with this one. The base is round and not a tripod which is great. The colors are vibrant, the field of view os perfect. I dont feel like im having to move my head and eyes around to see my screen. The eye saver mode is awesome. It helps me not to strain my eyes while starring at my screen for a long time.

the curve in the monitor makes it much easier to watch and use. it comes with built-in speakers, but i highly recommend using ones better. little to no bass and muffled sound. but they will do until you can get better. easy to set up with a very solid base, a big plus. Samsung continues to deliver a quality product at a reasonable price.

I have had this monitor for a month or so now. I absolutely love the curve design. Yea, it would be more perfect if this supports 4k. But it has so far been great for general use: web browsing, videos consumptions, word processing and reading PDFs. The built in speakers are also actually kinda good. I’m surprised. I noticed some reviews mentioned color accuracy when connected to a MacBook. The monitor indeed needs some color calibration. (An easy way to do it is to try different Color Profiles in Settings - Display.) for Mac OS, it also works the best when Night shift and True Tone are turned off when you use it as a primary monitor. *Last thing I want to mention is that I actually had to return the monitor and re order the same one because it was defective out of the box. What are the chances. Maybe I was just out of luck. So I guess it’d be a good idea to test it out before bringing it home if you can ( like if you’re picking it up in store).

This was my first foray into curved monitors. I buy for several hundred employees and offered these up to a 60 yo female employee. She loves them, I got her two. Said it reduces how much she has to turn her head. Other employees saw hers and asked for the same. Looks like curved is in.

Purchased this for my wife working from home. She wanted to try the curved screen. She said not to pay attention to reviews complaining about the stand. Just pay attention to the instructions when attaching the stand and it will be perfectly steady. Her only "complaint" is that she wished she had purchased the larger size.

I just "had" to buy this, since the video controller, which was replaced by vendor under warranty, didn't have a DVI connection. That was unfortunate - NOT. :-) The curvature is nice, since it wouldn't fit into the hutch on my old computer desk, and I can still open the storage door.
