Great SSD for the price! Let's me stay mobile with my files which is great for work/school. Also a great addition for storing games that don't require super fast ssd speeds. The samsung magician software is super nice to have, just for keeping the files locked when moving between spaces, and making sure that the ssd is still healthy.

Has plenty of memory, and was easy to use. Got this to save pictures. Guy at best who helped was very helpful and knowledgeable

This is a great addition to my electronic storage arsenal. However, I wouldn't download video games onto it and try to play them from this storage, the latency of information transfer from the external device to the PC is noticeable even when using type 3 USB or USB C on both ends. But, it's affordable and very sturdy. If I need more external storage where I won't be using it to store games, I'd buy another.

This drive lives up to its advertisement. It's the same size as a credit card but only thicker. It's lightening fast. Even on my 10 year old desktop I tested it and using the USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C to C cable (I have a PCIe Type C USB Card installed) the read/write constantly exceeds 725mbps. Using the USB 3 connection it consistently tested at 425 mbps. Could not be happier. One side note. The cables that come with it are very short, maybe 6 to 8 inches. I purchased a 3ft USB Type C to C cable. Be sure it is rated at "10Gbps" to get the highest speeds. I didn't pay attention to the speed when I bought my cable and got one rated at 480mbps and had to exchange it. Also, if you want to maintain the higher speeds only use cables 3 feet or shorter. Based upon research, once you get a longer cable the speed starts to slow down considerably.

Samsung has made a great little ssd here! This thing is smaaaall. I use it as extra storage for my Sony PS5 and it is fast enough to run games directly from it. Great bargain if you need reliability, speed and big storage amounts.

The device is Fast and reliable, easily transported. I use it on several devices at home. Also use it as a Network USB storage in my Netgear Modem/router.

Unbelievably small and lightweight. Seems pretty fast. Having two different USB cords is a plus as my MacBook is pretty old. I would recommend this very portable hard drive. I just wish solid state wasn’t so expensive.

This is a great little SSD drive. It's compact, fast and (so far) reliable. This is the second one I bought to use as a Time Machine backup for a Mac.

Simply Awesome, Amazing, Fast, being used as an extension for PS5 storage about the size of a credit card length wise. Thickness of a pack of gum. Theoretically would be easy to carry if needed. Holds a ton of games (PS4) games load right up.

I wanted to expand my storage on my PS5 and this brand was a more affordable option. It was, also, on sale. Easy to set up, small & portable, stores quite a lot of PS4 & PS5 games with just 1TB, runs PS4 games quick and smoothly.

Best storage device. Handy and large file holding capacity especially when you are overwhelmed with family pictures on your phone this gives you a big time relief. It even got dropped several times but works perfectly! Price is very affordable too!!

I’ve had a good experience with my Samsung hard drive so far — it’s fast, reliable, and does exactly what I need. But the real test is still ahead: time. That’s where my old Seagate drive fell short, so we’ll see if this one holds up.

this little hard drive the transfer from mu computer was at 650mg per minute, i was able to store hundreds of movies on it and it hook right up to my Samsung 4k player with no problem

I already owned T5 SSD and love T7 as well. I swear by Samsung products. I own many. This SSD can safely fit in a pocket, purse or hand. Highly recommend.

My favorite external hard drives! Small and easy to transport when I'm on the go, and I've dropped a few of them and they've all survived the drop too (though I don't recommend dropping them, lol). I use them to store high-res JPEGs and RAW images and they work great in combination with my Macbook Pro.

This little gizmo holds so many movies, concerts, and files in such a compact and slick case. Well done Samsung.
