If you need a portable SSD, Samsung is the brand to buy. You can’t convince me otherwise. I’ve had multiple brands die on me. Never a Samsung. That said, prices for memory in 2026 are just ridiculous. But that’s not a Best Buy or a Samsung issue. If you need an SSD, buy the Samsung.

This is one of those products that shows you why Samsung is a world class company - this thing is completely silent and downloads/runs PS4 games just as fast, if not faster than my PS5 itself. And it is much smaller than you might think. For anyone considering this: Note that it does not currently support PS5 files. It is only able to store all your PS4 games so you can use the limited PS5 memory for PS5 games only. It is still very handy since mosy t current PS5 owners still play PS4 games too

I use this for extended storage on my PS4/PS5 and it is excellent. Games load times decreased about 40%-50% on PS4, depending on the game. I also use it for PS4 games on my PS5 to free up valuable space on the internal storage. I highly recommend this for anyone with an extensive game library to help manage storage and avoid the constant re-download of games.

Works well, very fast. Gets very hot though. No issues or complaints. Using it to back up years of photos from different phones and old digital cameras.

I installed Mac OS on this SSD drive and now run my iMac (Intel with a tiny SSD drive). It starts up in less than half the time and no more slowdowns when I open multiple programs (I did add more RAM). Plus I can take it with me If I need to work elsewhere and have access to a Mac.

Love how portable it can be, i carry it to transfer files on site (production) and compared to my other options this is easy and stylish to carry

Works as it should. This was an upgrade after a very old one. I like how small and sleek it is, I was expecting it to be large and it’s not. Lots of storage and cost effective for the amount of storage.

We needed to store files off our google drive and this works great! You need to install the software but once it is up and running, easy peasy.

So small yet, so powerful. I’m using it in place of my corrupted HD on my eight year iMac. Easily formatted. Great buy!
