This is a super fast SSD! Great quality, but the price is a bit high. I use this drive to store my steam games on. I’ve had zero lag while running games directly from this drive. If you’re getting low on storage this drive will satisfy that need.

After 30 days of use—moving large files to my new MacBook Air—the T7 has felt like a trusty sidekick. It’s astonishingly compact, and I’ve tossed it in my bag without a second thought. A slight warmth under heavy write‑loads is the only quirk I’ve noticed—but nothing a quick pinch won’t handle.

A good back up drive for my laptop--solid state likely to last longer.

I love this little T7 portable drive. Especially now that prices have gone down a good bit with time/newer models. It is FAST. No doubt about that. A caveat: I've had the T1, T5, and now the T7. Each one has had problems with it's own software and my Mac computers. The older versions never did get proper updates to make the encryption/passwords work well and then Samsung suggested I had to upgrade the drive to get things to work. Since I just got the new M1 Mac, the newest version won't work with Silicone chips either, including in Intel with Rosetta 2. My solution? I just formatted it all the way as an APFS drive and use it as a normal non-encrypted external storage drive. For me, that's fine. I didn't buy it for the software and encryption, I bought it as a fast drive to backup my mac with Time Machine and files. For that reason, I highly recommend it.

Great product! The size is like a business card and it’s powered through my laptop. I have my Adobe software and my games on this and it works great!

This is worth buying i should've gotten the 2tb but i just wanted to see if i would like this and all I will say is that I'm very satisfied with this and it is real quick when setting it up and this will work with your game system this hooked right up to my Playstation with no problems

I bought this external drive to copy files from my old computer to my new one. It was effortless. Just plug it into a USB port (cable included) and either copy selected files, or all files. The drive measures 3.5" by 2.25". The cable is approx 18"

This drive is fantastic! Live the speed and size of it. Cannot get another SSD worth thisbsize thats more worth it. I have two 2TB and they work amazing. Backing up work was a drag before. Now its weirdly kind of fun.

Perfect for backing up my pictures and videos. I bought this specifically to have as a storage device to use while editing and making videos instead of keeping everything on my phone or tablet.

Bought this as an alternative to the seagate xbox expansion card, but BEWAREthis does not make xbox x|s optimized games playable. If you're using it for storage this is a very good option.

Samsung created a slightly thicker than credit card size backup SSD hard drive that ran high speed on phone and computer. It required to install the Samsung SSD version 1 app on Android phone. I wish I had bought 2.

I bought this to save space on my laptop while working with VM's. Total game changer. Will be getting a larger capacity next but this has been a godsend.

Working great, love the space. Games run perfectly, even with a cable that shows a low performance. Dropped it once and still works fine. I have mine taped to my laptop. Though I did see one on Amazon for $75. It was Prime Day however.

I use this drive for video editing on my iMac with Adobe Premiere. It's fast and it takes up very little room on my desk. It comes with two cables, a regular USB and a USB-C. They're only about 14" long, so your drive won't be very far from your computer.
