Good Portable Solid State Drive

I wanted to plug it in and leave it plugged all the time for easy access to the extra storage It provides. I did not want a backup only drive that cannot be left plugged in at all times. Most backup drives failed after extended use. Let’s see how this one work after a few months. It is a pricey hard drive but for now I’m very pleased with the quality of this unit. It is easy to use. Just plug it in and it works. The encrypted login is a nice feature. So far this unit is great and working just fine.

What's Not to Like

My first SSD and how fast it loads folders of pictures takes my breath away. One thing though - when the software is loaded, a message says that the drive can't be used. Don't panic. Go into the Mac utilities, then the Disk Utility app. Reformat the SSD as "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)". That's all.
