It is so much faster non SSD drives. It well worth the extra money if you need fast loading speeds or transfer speeds. Its compact. Yet seeme durable. I hsve no regrets and its the quality i have come to expect from Samsung.

Using it for my Tesla and works flawlessly. And using one for my on the go external storage for my photos. Both just simply work. Definitely a must have.

I had to reformat it once as it stopped working (I use it to back up my main PC files). Other than that, no complaints. I love it's size, design, build, and portability.

The very compact design is a plus. This device is as fast as an enclosure with an nvme drive, but is much cheaper.

It doesn’t matter how much data I am moving over to it, it has never taken more than a minute. It’s also super small and portable making it easy to put in any my work bag or carry-on. Love it!

Super nice coming from T5

Gifted my 2T T5 to my daughter but still have a couple of 1T T5 units and a 256G T5 unit in my vehicle for dash cam.

I love the fact that I plug it in and it reads and I can transfer all of my data that I'm looking to save. It's small and compact. I am very pleased.

I am using this to store video I took on my kids from ages ago, works like a champ. a friendly reminder: if video is what you will be storing on this drive and you have a lot of it, the 2T version may make more better sense in longer run.
