    The Samsung t7 1 GB ssd hard drive is very fast. On my Mabook Pro Black Magic gives 835 Mb/s write and 904 Mb/s read. Files transfer very fast. Use the included usb c cable to get fastest speeds and you need either a usb 3.1 version 2 port or thunderbolt port. On ordinary usb 3.0 ports the speeds drop to around 460 Mb/s. Included software allows you to check for firmware updates or set security on the drive you want to.

    Great device. It has come in handy to be able to keep my phone storage low but still ahve access to off cloud items. Especially since my online storage was full. I used as a video/picture mostly due to sports photography.
