    using this currently on my xbox one x, but intending to move it over to a series X when I can find one... It's been great and from what I've seen it will be even better on the series X for performance. I did get it on a pretty good sale which made it much more palatable to purchase, and would recommend catching on sale if you can, but otherwise I think it's the best external drive I've owned.

    I have been using a T5 for a couple years now and really like that drive. In some casual comparisons between the the T5 and new T7 moving identical files, the T7 seems to finish a few seconds faster. My true test will come after Christmas when I will get to use a new computer with USB 3.2 ports. I hope to see the full capability. The sturdiness of this drive as well as the older T5 are both excellent.

    using it to back up 40 years of old VHS and new 4k and 8k videos. It is very fast on my computer I get 370 megabyte uploads and downloads. Very quick and accurate to use my data with. Have several other Samsung drives and have never had a problem.

    I purchased this drive to use with my new Xbox series X. I chose this Samsung drive to take advantage of the fast read/write times. New S/X Xbox games must play from the internal drive. Therefore, moving actively played games back and forth between drives quickly is very useful with the Series X. After formatting, the drive has worked very well and does indeed transfer the games back and forth quickly.
