    Installing the software is the best route to get this drive to work with a Mac. I didn't install it at first but it worked much better with the software and it didn't interfere with any other items

    Works well with the existing Windows File History app (under Control Panel > System and Security). Daily backups can be scheduled, are completed in seconds. If unfamiliar, suggest letting technician demonstrate use.

    I have really enjoyed using the Samsung External USB. I have had several external hard drives that have crashed and was skeptical about using a USB. To my surprise it has been super easy and dependable. It is lightweight and I would recommend to anyone needing extra storage

    I purchased this external SSD to run a virtual operating system using my Mac and not take up hard drive space. As long as one is not doing serious computing, it works fine for this purpose. The case material and feel of the drive is solid. I would not recommend this drive as a back up drive because when SSD drives fail, it is impossible to retrieve information. I recommend using a hard drive for this purpose.

    The Samsung SSD is great and I'm able to store all my work on it from my MacBook Pro. Just make sure your system is updated to the latest operating system( Monterey) because there is a slight chance the SSD won't connect to the laptop if you don't.
