    Really fast but be careful as it can get really hot if it's not well ventilated. Like if you're on your couch and have the laptop in your lap and the drive is just hanging over your leg, touching the couch, this will get hot to the point where it's uncomfortable to hold. Think hotter than a disposable hand warmer. The concern there is that heat kills these devices. But if it's well ventilated, no concerns. I now use it with my Mac mini and keep this and another one on top of the mini and the metal of the mini draws the heat away from the drives.

    Got this in August after i ran out of storage on my gaming pc. Have downloaded multiplayer and single-player games on it. Have not noticed any sort of latency from the games as they run smoothly without any issues.

    Purchased this SSD as a replacement for a failed external hard drive. Attached to my new desktop Mac the drive was easily discovered by Mac OS and formatted for use with Timemachine. Delighted with the speed and reliability. Works as designed with no issues.
