    Samsung SSDs have functioned well for me in the past thus when my daughter needed a backup drive for her new Apple Laptop, I bought this. This unit comes with the USB-C connector. Samsung provides two connectivity cables: USB-C - USB-C and USB-C - USB-A The unit works well and the only puzzle/disappointment is that I can't a sustained write speed of the toughted: 1000MB/sec. Actual sustained Write speed is under 100MB.
