This drive is very fast and the build quality is great. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a small portable SSD solution. It's fast enough for me to work on Final Cut Pro projects right from the drive without any performance issues. I had a T5 drive previously and this is even thinner with better performance.

Speed & Reliability. This Performs Fantastically. I’m currently using it to store all of my games to save space on my PC. however I’ve used it for programming and hosting virtual machines and it’s never had an issue.

Design is perfect and so slick, it's blazing fast, connectivity is great, choice of cables is perfect, it warms up at times but its understandable since I'm a Dj and use it for that, tons of files, material and size is perfect and compact.

Super fast ans small factor. I have 2TB version to edit 4k/60 and 30 videos off disk without using Proxies in DaVinci and it handles it really well. If you have new Mac M4 or a PC that has the newer USB standard then get the new faster version that is 2000MB/s because this one is only 1050Mb/s, my M2 Pro Max does not have the new x4 USB so I got this one and I am very happy.

Small in size, lots of storage and fast read and write.

As far as I can see, there are no problems with this product. I do audio recording with logic pro x. It’s fast and very reliable. I had returned a sandisc SSD because i got several HDD error messages. No problems with this one!

Thus far my experience with the Samsung - T7 2TB External USB 3.2 Gen 2 Portable SSD with Hardware Encryption - Indigo Blue has been great. Easy to use, no glitches with any of my audio files.

Size is great, just wish SSD pricing would come down like the rest of storage has. This is really small and portable, but it feels like it should be treated very delicately to me. Speed is fast and appreciate having a spare 2TB with my internal 1TB SSD since editing videos takes up so much space.

It work great. I use it for recording and it is reliable portable hardrive I ever use so far. Small and fast writing speed for videos I ever own so far. No problems or any other issues at all. Plug and use right away. I have hyperdeck for personal videos editing and this really helps.

Love the functionality of a super fast SSD Its worked flawlessly since I purchased it. Ive been saving all my photos on it and its not even 1/2 full so far. Great buy if your computer didn't come with enough storage.

Unit is small, solid feeling, made of aluminum. In typical Samsung fashion the speeds are exactly as advertised. Easily sustains reads and writes above 1GB/s Cable goes in easy, but isn't loose. Unit is small and easy to misplace. You really can't go wrong with a Samsung SSD

It holds more than I thought it would it's a convenient size to be portable and very strong compared to the old type hard drives

I've used this hard drive since February and so far, it's been great. I don't see a reason for me to replace it any time soon. As a DJ, I use this to store my music library on it and it's pretty fast in terms of allowing me to access my folders. I specifically like the fact that the drive comes with two separate data cables, and allows for you to use whichever is available for your system.

This SSD works flawlessly to provide extra storage that you can keep connected to your computer, as a portable device for transferring data, or as a means to backup files on your system. It has fast data transfer rates with a USB 3.0 port or higher, and it comes out of the box exFAT formatted and ready to be used with multiple operating systems. It does get very warm (but not hot) during prolonged writing of tens of gigabytes of data. I have left mine inside my computer case through an internal USB port easily added with a PCI-e card for extra storage. A more permanent and slightly more expensive alternative for inside your computer if you have the slots available is the Samsung 970 EVO+ 1TB SSD when coupled with a PCLe SSDE to PCI-e adapter card.

I don't trust, don't like, and won't use any kind of "cloud" storage, as your data and info are not stored in a cloud, but on a physical server somewhere that someone in the know can get access to. Yes there is encryption etc. I don't trust it. Since I don't, I store and back up everything I have on physical flashdrives or SSD drives. Samsung have always been great for me, and these are no different. Some other SSDs get very hot, but not Samsung. They always do what they are supposed to do. Have never had any problems, and on sale are a great value.

It is a good product. Easy to use and efficient. Also the employee that help me was friendly.

My laptop was on its last leg (going on 10 years old) and I needed to back it up ASAP. I have a TON of stuff that I needed to save and this little beauty did it all! Compact and VERY easy to use, worth every penny!

Best external drive I’ve bought. Smaller than I thought, yet very powerful. Speaking of storage, it can store up to 2TB digitally. And physically, I can fit all that in my pocket.

Good portable SSD hard drive for the price with decent memory storage. I chose Samsung because of their reputation for making the best hard drives on the market. I chose this particular model because of it’s compact size & simple design & it also featured a USB-C port which helped make it thoroughly up to date feature & performance wise.
