There's not much to say, I like it, and it works perfectly for my needs. It's compact and doesn't take up much space.

Very good product so far. I have no complaints what so ever. It has worked flawlessly every time I use it with my windows computer and I think it’s going to last.

I got this because mine got stolen but it works so seamless and it's fast.

Reads and writes very quickly close to advertised (averages 800mb/s). Even at near full capacity this SSD moves fairly quick at around half it's speed (~400mb/s). It's been great to edit 4k videos off of whether it be after effects or premiere. Only gripe is packaging seemed silly, the SSD sits on the very surface and not secured inside making it fall out easily and might suffer a small scratch, so unbox slowly.

Once you use Samsung SSD portable hard drive you won't use anything else. Fast, reliable, and compact.

For such a small devise I have 1 Terabyte of storage. It allowed me to purchase a much faster iMac at a more affordable price.

Great external SSD drive for data back up. As a photographer I need relyable date back up. This Samsung drive works great.

So far so good. Bought to replace current backup drive. this tiny & silent drive is perfect for my limited desk space. old drive was noisy 10 yo unit and now not a sound, Nice. worth the price for piece of mind backing up email, photos and memories... from both laptop and phone.. have not yet installed the optional encryption software...

Am replacing mechanical hard drive on my iMac with this external ssd drive, giving me much better performance.

This was my first time purchasing an external SSD. I have been very satisfied with the product. Wish I would have bought the 2T version. I keep all my media files on this and have never had an issue running Light room, watching movies, or listening to music while this is plugged into my laptop.

Haven't been using it long but the setup is pretty simple and easy. Also as someone who likes to work on the go I love the sleek design - it's super lightweight and portable!! Definitely can recommend.

I caught this on sale, great buy! I use it with my laptop/mobile DAW for storing samples and music files. Write speed is fast enough for my use, small yet sturdy build. Has a premium feel to it. I will definitely buy this model again with more storage.

Excellent SSD, super portable and no problems with it

I had several external hard drives and was looking for one that was a SSD type with more room for storage. I am liking this external HD very much! More than enough space for what I need when I backing up my laptop. I am comfortable in knowing my data is secure on it and I like the SSD Hardware Encryption as well. Great little external HD!

Size is the main reason to get this. Portability at this capacity is a no-brainer for an avid photographer/videographer on the go. I paid about the same amount for this same version, but half the capacity (1TB) a few years ago.
