Small, fast, and holds all my “saves”. Remarkable for such a relatively tiny drive.

This small and lightweight drive comes with cables for both USB-A and USB-C. Data transfer rates are pretty decent. I like that the drive comes with built-in encryption, which in my opinion is better than Bitlocker. When you plug in the drive for the first time on any computer, the only files readable are the drive are the encryption installers. Run the installer for the first-time setup, and then whenever you plug in the drive, it asks for your password before your files are visible. Once connected, the drive updates with the amount of available space.

Works great as extended storage for Playstation systems. On PS4, it's recognized right away and ready to use after formatting to the system, and games loaded onto the T7 load quickly and run smoothly. If you intend to use it only with PS4, you can save some money by getting the T5 instead, as the 3.0 USB ports on PS4 are unable to allow the T7 to reach its top transfer speeds. But if you intend to use the external ssd with the PS5, then the T7 is more worthwhile because that system can support the top transfer speeds through USB 3.2 Gen 2 connection. Tests I found online show that PS4 games stored on the T7 with PS5 load and perform just as well as when those games are stored on the system's internal storage. A worthwhile investment to play and preserve your PS4 games for the new gen.

Big things come in little packages. Needed a decent portable storage and this works perfectly.

The transfer speeds are excellent, especially for large files like videos and photo libraries. I regularly back up work projects, and this drive handles everything quickly and without any hiccups. It’s also very quiet during operation and doesn’t overheat, even with extended use.

Great SSD, hasn't failed me yet. Easy to pass off to clients as well, just as reliable as the rugged versions. Not making any other future ssd purchases besides these.
