The file transfer is pretty good. I haven't really tried other brands or products to compare it with so I'm not sure where it falls on the scale of how fast it transfers our images and videos but I read a lot of reviews online and figured this was the best one for me and when i finally got it and tested it out, it worked great!

I bought two for my research project. Blue for primary and red for my back up. Came with USB A to C cable. and USB C to C cable

Much smaller than a spinning portable drive and since it's ssd, it sits on top of the Xbox with no problem with heat. Oh, pretty fast too.

Compact & Light, Good Transfer Rate, Encryption

Data transfer rates are pretty decent. I like that the drive comes with built-in encryption, which in my opinion is better than Bitlocker. When you plug in the drive for the first time on any computer, the only files readable are the drive are the encryption installers. Run the installer for the first-time setup, and then whenever you plug in the drive, it asks for your password before your files are visible. Once connected, the drive updates with the amount of available space.
