It's a tiny, handy storage device with solid performance for its class, and while it lacks the convenience of the T7 Touch's biometric security, its strong password-protected encryption should be more than adequate to protect your data.

Easy to install and was set up in about 5 minutes. Don't buy Crucial / Micron Technology that was horrible with horrible customer service.

Purchased to attach to a Tablo DVR. Basically plug and play, Simple setup on the Tablo and it was up and running. Tablo only had a small memory and this replaced it with maybe 150-200 hours of HD recording capability.

Nice compact size. No issues with operation. Using this as extra storage for an Nvidia Shield.

I needed a faster ssd for my M1 MacBook. This thing is speedy on data transfers and surprisingly small. I edit my photos directly from this drive, which frees up space on my computer.

After a lot of research I decided to go with the PS5 Digital Edition. I knew I needed to get an external drive and this one is perfect. It was a bit pricey but it works super fast and gives me plenty of space for the games.

Super fast hard drive and very portable! I was able to copy large video files (30-40GB) in seconds! Would definitely recommend it to anyone who needs super fast and portable storage! You simply can't go wrong with Samsung!

Samsung SSDs are very reliable. I have had several for 500GB -2TB both T5 and T7. They stay pretty cool, are fast. You will never want to use a HDD after using an SSD.

2TB - Enough Room for my Storage Needs and the Speed and Security is awesome - using the Samsung Magician Software.

The speed is amazing and it's so small. It's about the size of a credit card and about 1/4" thick. Using a c cable 4gig movies transfer in about 30sec instead of 15 min.

This external SSD has a good capacity and transfer speeds for the price, in a small and beautifully designed drive.

This is a very fast drive at a reasonable price. I used it connected to a TB3 dock (Caldigit) connected to a mac and store my photo library on it for editing. It’s small and robust, though I haven’t tested that out.

It’s a great laptop in a small package. Has everything I need and is portable, fast and reliable.

Geez what can i say. I came from a era where 4TB drives was the size of a room, but now it barely fits in the palm of my hand. Incredible!!

The built quality on this External SSD is truly outstanding. I find it to be easy to use and love the ability for it to encrypt data. Additionally, the transfer speeds are incredible. It is faster to transfer large files to this SSD compared to other External SSD's. Moreover, I like the inclusion of the USB Type-C to Type-C and USB Type-C to Type-A cable to allow for the connection of a wide range of devices, making it compatible for older devices, as well as, new ones.

The T5 drives were already amazing, now with the T7 you get the increased speeds of USB 3.1 Gen 2. For the price, to have an extremely portable SSD capable of handling 4K Raw video editing, you really cant go wrong.

I purchased this for the Sentry mode and dash cam in my Tesla. It is plug and play and perfect for what I need. The storage is lightning quick to get into and view dash cam footage and alarm events. Excellent product.
