Samsung T7 1TB External SSD

Not as fast with an older computer but external SSD has same increase in performance as internal SSD when compared to a mechanical drive.

Great SSD, Garbage USB Cables

No need for a protective case. Read and write speeds are fast enough to move large games. The only issue is the included USB cables don't always make a good connection. Swap them for some quality cables.

Need "Before Use" Instructions

Didn't come with instructions. Had to research in order to find out they needed to be initialized & partitioned before use. Will seek another brand, plug and play SSD in the future

If you like to do editing, and have to keep making new folders/files. You need to get this, you can save more money getting this rather than upgrading your macbook to more storage…that still won’t be enough.
