    The Samsung t7 1 GB ssd hard drive is very fast. On my Mabook Pro Black Magic gives 835 Mb/s write and 904 Mb/s read. Files transfer very fast. Use the included usb c cable to get fastest speeds and you need either a usb 3.1 version 2 port or thunderbolt port. On ordinary usb 3.0 ports the speeds drop to around 460 Mb/s. Included software allows you to check for firmware updates or set security on the drive you want to.

    This is my 3rd Samsung T7 that I've purchases (I've since bought a 4th) and is actually the only brand I prefer for my video editing projects! I've not had to replace or repair due to damage for any of my purchased hard drives and will only use/recommend these moving forward!
