    They Samsung T7 SSD 1TB is a must for avid gamers. With sizes of games getting larger you need an SSD to move games around fast as the HDD is dated and slow. The T7 is plug and play for gaming consoles and is lightning fast when compared to the HDD. A must buy for hardcore gamers and nice alternative to the expensive seagate expansion card for Xbox series X.

    Great drive. Using on a Mac Mini 2018. XCode will cache 100's of gigs of iPad data. So I moved all dev assets & dev system folders using syslinks to use this drive instead. Works very well for the task. No reason to trash your internal soldered drive because of poorly written IDE's.

    Luv the Samsung 2TB T7s! I own three. I use them as backup drives for my Windows and macOS systems. I also own a SanDisk 2TB Extreme Portable. The SanDisk is a nice drive with similar performance characteristics, but I prefer the smaller size of the T7 for storage purposes and I don't need the rubberized ruggedness of the SanDisk.
