The larger sized were a little pricey but maybe soon the prices will come down.

Runs a little hot, and transfer rate is slower than I expected from an SSD considering the advertised speeds, but it is silent and very portable.

I use this for gaming on my MacBook Pro through a hub connected via thunderbolt. It’s virtually as fast as the internal drive and yet small enough to be portable if I need it to be.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't trust, don't like, and won't use any kind of "cloud" storage, as your data and info are not stored in a cloud, but on a physical server somewhere that someone in the know can get access to. Yes there is encryption etc. I don't trust it. Since I don't, I store and back up everything I have on physical flashdrives or SSD drives. Samsung have always been great for me, and these are no different. Some other SSDs get very hot, but not Samsung. They always do what they are supposed to do. Have never had any problems, and on sale are a great value.
