This external hard drive is working properly at the moment as a home cloud unit. Decided to have my cloud base at home instead of relying on others. Dropbox snd Google drive are getting expensive.

The only issue I have is that on my system (Windows 10), if I use the USB3 cable the data transfer to the drive is very slow and sometimes hangs (could be my system though that particular USB3 port works OK with other peripherals). Instead, I use the supplied USB-C cable and that works flawlessly. If not for this anomaly I would give it 5 stars.

I didn’t want to spend 200+ on an internal hard drive so this was a perfect fit for me. The games move between the external hard drive and the system pretty quick.

It doesn’t matter how much data I am moving over to it, it has never taken more than a minute. It’s also super small and portable making it easy to put in any my work bag or carry-on. Love it!

With an apple computer I had to actually register it in the mac desktop computer system. Its small feather weight and could fit in your pocket. Its too cool.

I am using this to store video I took on my kids from ages ago, works like a champ. a friendly reminder: if video is what you will be storing on this drive and you have a lot of it, the 2T version may make more better sense in longer run.
