Great External Storage for Playstation

On PS4, it's recognized right away and ready to use after formatting to the system, and games loaded onto the T7 load quickly and run smoothly. If you intend to use it only with PS4, you can save some money by getting the T5 instead, as the 3.0 USB ports on PS4 are unable to allow the T7 to reach its top transfer speeds. But if you intend to use the external ssd with the PS5, then the T7 is more worthwhile because that system can support the top transfer speeds through USB 3.2 Gen 2 connection. Tests I found online show that PS4 games stored on the T7 with PS5 load and perform just as well as when those games are stored on the system's internal storage. A worthwhile investment to play and preserve your PS4 games for the new gen.

It’s really small and lightweight, easy to carry around, and feels solid with the metal build. The speed is the main highlight—transferring large files is super quick, and I can even edit videos directly off the drive without any issues. It comes with both USB-C and USB-A cables, so it works with all my devices, and setting up the password protection was simple. The only downside is that it can get a little warm during big transfers, but it hasn’t affected performance.

Much smaller than a spinning portable drive and since it's ssd, it sits on top of the Xbox with no problem with heat. Oh, pretty fast too.
