    I read all the reviews prior to purchasing, everything was great. I agree except when using with MacBook it will get very hot.

    I got this to offload PS4 games onto and attach to my PS5, leaving internal SSD storage there for PS5 games that could take advantage of the speed of the internal SSD. While this does work on a PS4, some games stutter, mainly because the PS4 USB ports don't seem to have the same throughput as the PS5 ones do.
