    Having numerous internal NVME Samsung Drives, I needed one for my M2 Max based Mac Studio. What a disappointment. It was slower than a cheap case I can buy and put my own SSD in it. I got a grand total of about 160MB for a drive that should get up to 10GB/s. It's great for backup, don't I wouldn't recommend it for running anything from.

      The maximum transfer speed that can be achieved by the T7 is 1,050 MB/s on a PC that supports USB 3.1 Gen2 and UASP Mode, but the speed may vary depending on your PC environment and the types of data being transferred.

      As there are various factors that could affect speed, I would encourage you to call Samsung Customer Support to troubleshoot your issue.

    I have used this with a new Dell Inspiron 2-in-1, a 6 yr old HP AIO, and two different Toshiba laptops (one bought in 2005 and other in 2011). No issues, much faster than USB 3.0 portable hard drives.
