I Like the new SSD drives. I know you can get the older style for 1/3 the price, but I carry mine around and I don't worry about a little bump know and then. They are flat & easy to carry in computer bag. Watch the prices, End of the year is a great time to buy. Note the "gen" numbers. They tell you the transfer speed (and thus the price range). 3.2 gen 2 is about the fastest right now. Give it a few months there will be a faster model (but for more money I expect). Be realistic about the speed you really need. Do you move 100gb in one setting? (That is about 100 normal size movies). If yes then go for the best speed. If not maybe save $40 on the slightly slower (but still amazing) model. I usually limit size to 1-TB. You can get up to 4TB, but that is a lot to lose if it ever does give you a problem. I have 10 of these 1TB models. T-5's and T-7's. USB 3.1 gen 1, thru USB 3.2 gen 2. They all work well so far.

A great SSD to help expand my storage space. It always feels like I'm running out of storage space, so this portable drive is an immense convenience to store photos and videos!

I wasn't sure what to expect when buying this was mostly just looking for a decent external that would hold space and wasn't big in size, I got exactly what I was looking for with no strings attached I'd highly recommend this product

Roughly the size of a credit card and about a quarter of an inch thick, (0.31”) this SSD has performed with excellent results. I bought this exclusively to use on my PS5 for PS4 game storage. The results were very fast load up times compared to a traditional HDD. Very happy with the form factor, construction and performance of this small device.

The Samsung T7 was a lifesaver for transferring all the pictures from my phone. The process was easy, and I have now a very small and portable SSD

Thisnhas been one of my best purchases for my pc, external ram is very much needed when most PC's only come with around 500gb internal, great buy! No problems so far. And its been about a year since purchase. Still running strong and a highly reccomended product by me to my freinds for a while now!

Can’t ask for a better external drive. It works, and it works well. It has a solid construction, is fast enough for most, if not all normal use cases, and is a good value. Comes in a variety of colors which is nice if you have multiple for different uses.

Works well with both my Mac and Windows pc. It’s much smaller than any of the portable hard drives I’ve had in the past. I appreciate that it came with both usb A and C cables, making it compatible with any device.

Excellent External Hard Drive! Easy to use and save my important documents

After 30 days of use—moving large files to my new MacBook Air—the T7 has felt like a trusty sidekick. It’s astonishingly compact, and I’ve tossed it in my bag without a second thought. A slight warmth under heavy write‑loads is the only quirk I’ve noticed—but nothing a quick pinch won’t handle.

Purchased this solid state drive for 4K video editing on the go. Most recent project was a wedding and the speed of the ssd made the editing a breeze. I found this ssd to be much faster than others i have used in the past, including my western digital portable ssd. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing fast portable storage on the go for a great value.

I really like this. I offload a lot of documents, videos and photos to this, so I could free up space in my laptop. Also, if my laptop gets stolen, I would still have this as a backup. I like that it's compact and pretty. It copies fast.

This is the third one of these that I have purchased and again it is not let me down it is a great piece and a small footprint that stores an incredible amount of information. And the transfer speed is also amazingly fast
