Very easy to use and compatible with gaming software. I use it as backup game storage and it works really well.

I'm using this for large file storage and it works as advertised. Also included two different types of connector cables so adding a star for that! Only time will tell if it'll last but so far, so good. The only thing I wish it had was a case but it's so small that maybe Samsung figured that most people wouldn't use it. Other than that I'm happy so far.

The Samsung T7 1tb ssd is super fast. I use it several for DJ purposes only. I need reliability and fast transfer speeds, and this is the drive for the job. Buy this drive. You won’t be disappointed.

Got this for my new PS5. Very nice external hard drive. The size is great to hide behind the unit. Extremely fast. I had originally bought the 500 GB but traded it in for the 1 TB since the new PlayStation games are very huge.

Works great as extended storage for Playstation systems. On PS4, it's recognized right away and ready to use after formatting to the system, and games loaded onto the T7 load quickly and run smoothly. If you intend to use it only with PS4, you can save some money by getting the T5 instead, as the 3.0 USB ports on PS4 are unable to allow the T7 to reach its top transfer speeds. But if you intend to use the external ssd with the PS5, then the T7 is more worthwhile because that system can support the top transfer speeds through USB 3.2 Gen 2 connection. Tests I found online show that PS4 games stored on the T7 with PS5 load and perform just as well as when those games are stored on the system's internal storage. A worthwhile investment to play and preserve your PS4 games for the new gen.

I needed a fast, lightweight external drive to use to backup my laptop PC's internal SSD. This drive is ideal. Data transfer is quick and the drive itself is small and light. It's exactly what I was looking for.
