    Bought two to use as external drives for our cameras, worked extremely well. We have used other drives in the past which would struggle to write quickly enough for the cameras we use at maximum settings, and thus would lose frames - we had no such problems with this model. Worked perfectly, would recommend for any professional AV company. Great price point for the amount of storage as well.

    I got this for my Tesla, it was cheaper and faster and better built than the T5. I heard there might be heat issues but so far so good.

    The Samsung t7 1 GB ssd hard drive is very fast. On my Mabook Pro Black Magic gives 835 Mb/s write and 904 Mb/s read. Files transfer very fast. Use the included usb c cable to get fastest speeds and you need either a usb 3.1 version 2 port or thunderbolt port. On ordinary usb 3.0 ports the speeds drop to around 460 Mb/s. Included software allows you to check for firmware updates or set security on the drive you want to.
