While a little higher in price I was confident that it was the right choice. I came home installed it and it solved the difficult I was having with my wi fi. Thanks to everyone at Best Buy.

Can't get fast speeds.

To double check if it was my pc that was the problem, I hooked up the device to my Xbox. Xbox stated " Storage must be USB 3.0 or faster. This device is too slow."

Advertised speeds are not for sustained transfers! For a 10GB + file, expect to see it transfer as advertised- at first -and then expeditiously drop off to usb 2.0 speeds. Hands down the worst SSD purchase I have made. Spend less money on T5 and get WAY more reliable performance!

Only down side it that you have to manually select each photo and upload it to the ssd. I wish it would scan my photo automatically and put them on the ssd w/o me having to choose each one.

Put all my photos on, saved tons of space on my phone and laptop, so I love it. But this 2G thing…..I got to back up movies and other media. Figured there’s by no compatibility issues since it’s literally the same thing just more storage. But this is $190 of useless hardware. I plug it in, nothing. I looked up troubleshooting tips, nothing. Can’t even locate it anywhere in the deep system code cuz one tip was to rename it. Can’t rename something that isn’t there…. So I’m not impressed, very disappointed and refusing to pay outrageous Geek Squad fees to get help. So looks like I’ll be returning it. Very disappointed customer. Best Buy is usually great. Not this time.
