I recently got the Samsung T7 Shield 1TB SSD, and it has been a game changer for my storage needs! I am, by no means, a power user of electronics and computers. This external hard drive was easy to use and did everything I wanted in a very quick period of time. I had my photos scattered on a bunch of flash drives. They are all in one place in an easy to find and organized place. The transfer took longer than I thought, but all my photos barely took up any space on this 2TB product.

I got this to replace an old HDD and to store my pc games. It works perfectly, It took a few minutes to move 100GB+ of game files from my steam library, and there's no detectable difference when running the games from the drive versus my internal SSD. My old drive used to get really hot and make a lot of noise when I tried running games, but I haven't noticed that with this one at all.

A great external ssd for PC gaming, with it's quick transfer speeds. It has no issues running games off it like Monster Hunter Wilds which tends to have issues with other drives.

I bought another well known brand that was way cheaper and it didn't work for my needs. It had a lot of issues staying connected to my laptop. Returned it and got this Samsung SSD, and it is 100x better than the other brand! I bought this so I can play modded PC games and so far, it has worked perfectly. This thing is solid; I don't feel I have to be as careful with it. It doesn't have performance issues and my game works great on my laptop. I would highly recommend!

This hard drive does what you want it to do. It's compact, durable, and fast. I use it on the road recording and photographing bands. It stays in my backpack and takes a bit of a beating and I've never had an issue with it at all. I recommend this hard drive for anyone taking photos or videos while on the road traveling.

I am extremely satisfied with this purchase. "Value" is a relative term. Was the price a bit daunting? YES! However knowing the value of the content going on this drive is literally Priceless! I will now sleep better at night knowing all of the files are saved and safer. The files now transferred by The Geek Squad (Jason & Jackson @ the Midwest City, OK store) is a professional lifetime, 46 years of learning and training materials for Aging Adults, Adult Protective Services & Domestic Violence professionals and para-professionals at a state, national, an d international level. Note my previous 5TB drive was also purchased from Best Buy several years ago and it was an excellent drive but I used it ALL THE TIME and since it was a disk drive it eventually became unreliable. That was not the fault of the drive but simply constant use. Again......Having these priceless files now on a solid state drive I can now sleep at night. Final note: I also want to thank Bryan in the Midwest City, OK store who on my visit went out of his way to find not only the right drive, but actually locate it in the store for me.

I purchased this to replace an older style portable HD and provide me more assurance my information would be safe and not get stranded when the old drive (not an SSD) decided to stop functioning. I couldn't be happier with the durability, speed, and compact nature of this device. Samsung memory devices have always performed well for me and I will always use them when possible.

This is my 2nd of these drives & I couldn't be happier with them. They are LIGHTNING fast when it comes to transferring large amounts of data from an Android device & vice-versa. They're perfect for those who take a lot of pictures or who use their mobile device like a laptop PC & need an external-type drive that's a more stable & reliable alternative to the cloud. The only downside to the device is the cataloging in that, if you do use this for pictures and you've spent time "tagging" your photos for easy searching, the tags DO transfer to the drive in the metadata, but ate not searchable in thus manner (as far as I can tell) as that's only a feature available in Samsung's Gallery. Another downside might be that you need to open each file individually, rather than being able to scroll through them like you'd be able to in a "Gallery" setting. ... I'm sure there are ways around this/apps to fix this, I just haven't found them yet. ... But- For the purpose of versatile, stable, reliable, FAST, large capacity & EXTREMELY portable data storage, this is TOTALLY the way to go for any of your storage needs!

I was tired of paying for monthly cloud storage that never seemed to be enough was slow and hard to find anything when needed. I am very pleased with this product . So easy to use to safely store all my files and pictures and easily pull up when needed. Extremely fast. Love it

This has been a life saver for my computer and files. I do a lot of photos and videos that can really bog down my PC. This has made life so much easier and faster to work on my projects. Now with all the prices going up, I wish I had bough a second one or a larger one.

Definitely happy with this product. As a graduate student, I needed something that was easy to carry (like a USB) but also tough enough not to break (like USBs tend to do). This is perfect. It's tough, durable, and water resistant. It also has great capacity and fantastic speeds.

Lets face it, Apple upchargers for their SSD and im too cheap to pay for it. In comes this beauty! I was able to launch the OS from an external drive ans saved myself 800 bucks. Ive had it for anout a month now and i havent had any issues! Love this - highly recommend.
