    I've bought a number of products for saving data. Many don't live up to the hype. Some have totally destroyed irretrievably important data, showing it was problematic from the beginning. This little gadget has proven reliable.

    This meets my needs perfectly as a professional photographer and filmmaker. I tend to not store tons of data all in one ssd or hdd even though I've never had anything fail on me. I use these as my ssd to unload my SD cards and then edit directly from them after I make a backup into a larger hdd.

    Samsung never disappoints. This ssd is really well made and has a great grip and texture. The two cables it comes with are great and allow me to plug it into any computer. Mine has a usb-c port so I'm using that as my default. It even connects to my phone! I didn't know it could do that.
