However, it is still fast enough for what I use it for, but I am only getting a max of about 600MB/s. Yes, I am using a USB 3.2 port.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I'm sorry that your experience fell short of expectations. This model is designed to deliver speeds of up to 1,050MB/s Seq. Read & 1,000MB/s Seq. Write.
