Like the previous T7 but with a rubber case

Any SSD will do but I sleep better at night with the "Samsung" brand slapped on it. Don't you? I have a 1TB old non-Shield version for my Xbox One and this "Shield" definitely makes it feel like it would survive a drop to the ground...or in the pool, Just don't bring it near water. You should be swimming and not trying to get work done.

I wanted a drive that was not as fragile and could also data transfer quicker as I was working with 4K video. This one had the best reviews at the time and right of out the box I absolutely love it and don't see my self ever going back to an HDD type. I had one of those hindsight is twenty twenty moments that I should have switched a long time ago. The design is slim as expected and the data transfer far out paces the traditional disc style.
