Had to download some Samsung software to access the SSD on my PC, this same software is impossible to get installed on Mac so I was unable to accrss the files on my laptop.

The maximum transfer speed that can be achieved by the T7 Shield is 1,050 MB/s on a PC that supports USB 3.2 Gen2 and UASP Mode, but the speed may vary depending on your PC environment and the types of data being transferred.
As there are various factors that could affect speed, I would encourage you to call Samsung Customer Support to troubleshoot your issue.

Form Meets Function (And Value!)

Very portable and feels nice in the hand. Other than the setup process when you first plug it in, drive works like any other external storage device. The file transfer speeds are insane - what used to be a 30 minute process on my old HDD literally got cut down to 2 minutes max with this drive.
