Backs up all the data I need to. It is easy to use and comes with two different transfer cords One for your computer and one for phone transfers. It can be stored for years to come to preserve and transfer data.

This is my go-to external photo storage solution for macOS. It’s fast enough to quickly access my library and big enough to give me room to grow. The rugged design is a nice bonus, making it feel durable without being too bulky. If you need a reliable and speedy SSD for photos, projects, or backups, this one’s a solid pick.

I am extremely satisfied with this purchase. "Value" is a relative term. Was the price a bit daunting? YES! However knowing the value of the content going on this drive is literally Priceless! I will now sleep better at night knowing all of the files are saved and safer. The files now transferred by The Geek Squad (Jason & Jackson @ the Midwest City, OK store) is a professional lifetime, 46 years of learning and training materials for Aging Adults, Adult Protective Services & Domestic Violence professionals and para-professionals at a state, national, an d international level. Note my previous 5TB drive was also purchased from Best Buy several years ago and it was an excellent drive but I used it ALL THE TIME and since it was a disk drive it eventually became unreliable. That was not the fault of the drive but simply constant use. Again......Having these priceless files now on a solid state drive I can now sleep at night. Final note: I also want to thank Bryan in the Midwest City, OK store who on my visit went out of his way to find not only the right drive, but actually locate it in the store for me.

Good external HD. Small and well protected by the case. Fast retrieval and easy to use. Recommend this SSD Drive.

Needed to get some extra storage for my XBOX Series X and this fit the bill. My house is fairly dusty so I wanted something that could handle that environment. It's small so it's easy to place out of sight. Performance: Transferring games from the internal storage and from the 1TB expansion card to this drive I was getting between 214.26 and 226.41Gbps (Gigabits) which equates to 26.8 - 28.3 GBps (Gigabytes) with the games ranging between 500MB to 40GB. So far pretty solid drive. Samsung always makes really good products, and this tiny drive is no exception

Love how small these are. Having 2 TB in such a small size is great for bringing along with a laptop. Plus, being solid state and USB C, makes for fast transfers.

My partner works in content creation for small businesses and has been working off HDD’s forever. I personally have been using internal and external SSD’s for a while and finally got her on the SSD wave. She’s extremely happy about the amount of storage and speed she is able to utilize. She is able to work Lightroom and Davinci projects directly from the drive with no hiccups. The T7 shield also provides her extra security from drops, which she was most worried about. Chose this over the Sandisk after their recent controversy with the Extreme Pro SSD issues. We’re extremely satisfied with the purchase.

The Samsung T7 Shield is a portable SSD drive that is ready to go with you whether you're hiking the trails or roaming the cubicles. The IP65 rated drive has a thick rubber jacket that can handle drops, dust and a splash or two. I like it because I don't have to worry about it getting banged up in my backpack. Samsung rates this drive at 1000 Mbps write and 1050 Mbps and I achieved this using CrystalDiskMark. Using the Blackmagic Disk Speed Test I got approximately 850 reads and writes. For comparison - my laptop SSD gets about 3500 Mbps for both reads and writes. The T7 ships with two cables, USB-C to USB-C and USB-A to USB-C. I did find that a USB-C cable I use with another drive didn’t work with the Samsung, I needed to use the enclosed cable. The drive worked as expected on my Windows PC, iMac as well as my iPad Pro. The T7 includes software that lets you password encrypt the drive to protect your files if it gets misplaced. I like the speed, versatility and three-year warranty of the Samsung T7 Shield. Yes, I would recommend this drive to a friend.

I realized my work computer was working too hard to handle all my files. I also wanted a backup for my cloud backup (I'm pretty OCD about my documents), so I took a chance and picked up this Samsung. I have come to really appreciate the brand after buying a 1TB and a 2TB external USB drive as well as a 2 in 1 laptop. To find a 4TB drive that is almost as thin as the 1 and 2 TB drives is impressive to me (I also on a 1TB drive that's I don't know how many years old now and it's as big as an old school dictionary and about as heavy). It's fast and is just what I was looking for.

Very solid feel. Have dropped it twice with no consequence. Has not been wet - yet! Easy to use. Fast. Seems just fine. Very good price when I bought it. Less than non-Shield model. I like it.

The Samsung T7 Shield 4TBExternal USB is amazing! Exceedingly fast, dependable, and compact. I'm using it for my MacBook Pro Time Machine Daily Backup.

I am, by no means, a power user of electronics and computers. This external hard drive was easy to use and did everything I wanted in a very quick period of time. I had my photos scattered on a bunch of flash drives. They are all in one place in an easy to find and organized place. The transfer took longer than I thought, but all my photos barely took up any space on this 2TB product.

I'm so pleased with the compact size of this External USB. It takes up 1/5 of the space of my old one. Very sturdy and much more storage as well. Would definately recommend.

Super fast and compact. It wreally crunched through a big download and made my day shorter.

So far it's been pretty good no problems with it I'm able to store all my games that I play and pretty simple to connect to my computer.

I'm still amazed that so much data can be recorded in such a small device. The solid state 'disk' made a backup of my entire file structure in about 20 minutes, and restored it to another machine equally fast. On my Mac, I will now use it for Time Machine continuous backup in the background. Purchased for a very good price because there is a newer faster model (which speed I don't really need - yet). Very helpful that it comes with two cables for different computer connections, and that it doesn't need a separate power supply.

Works great, compact, easy to use, backs up my data with no issues.
