Durable SSD, much slimmer than I anticipated. I’m not getting into specifics but transfer speeds are noticeably fast, thing flies. Definitely already dropped it a few times without any signs of wear. Samsung makes great products.

I bought this to replace my old HDD that somehow got corrupted. This SSD is blazing fast, small, light, and portable. I ripped my bluray and 3d movies to it and plug into my Xbox series X and turned it into a media hub. This is definitely worth buying, I have absolutely NO COMPLAINTS

It just blows me away that you can 4TB (or more) of extremely fast storage in something so portable and small.

An excellent product from Samsung. It’s not only small and durable, it’s fast and reliable which makes portability and performance noticeable. I would highly recommend this product to everyone who has a need for high performance storage drives while on a budget.

Play product fast doesn’t get hot plenty of storage that has a slow down with over 50% capacity.

I've been using the Samsung T5's for about 6 to 7 years now and I really thought those were the best and super fast but wow have times changed. I'm sure when I bought them, they were top tier of SSD's. I just recently purchased the T7 and its a huge change in speed. (For me anyway) Same reliability as always and have never had any issues with the samsung SSD. Fast and reliable and now adding the rubberized coating to make them a little more resistant to scratches and drops, etc... I'm sure these will now last me a good 6,8+ years. My only gripe is they're pretty expensive compared to other brands but since I've used them for a while now, they have not let me down. So I'll continue to pay a little extra I guess to get what I want and need.

Compact it stores lots of data. I have been saving lots of mp4 videos.

These are terrific portable hard drives. They're small, reliable, and super fast. I only buy these from now on.

Bought so I could play BG3 on my laptop - though it has only been a few weeks, it has worked well so far! Before buying, I worried using an external drive would cause some lag in-game; I'm excited to say everything is running smoothly and quickly! I've got over 40 hours of gaming on BG3 with no issues. My whole Steam library has been moved onto the Samsung external drive to free up space. I wish I had bought something like this earlier. My laptop only has one USB port, which I use for my wireless mouse...so it's a lifesaver that this external drive comes with both a Type C-to-C and Type C-to-A wire! It meant I could uses the C-to-C cable to attach the external drive, and still have my USB port free to use my mouse!

Wow! I love this. This is a beast. A real game changer in storing all my files and music. I can store so much on this. and I can carry it around, and if I accidently drop it, it will still work, and all my file folders are still there and accessible.

The device is easy hook up and use and is very reliable.

Ive had this for a while now and still have plenty of storage and it is super easy to pack up and take with me. This is the second one that I have and couldnt be more pleased.

This drive came with cables that allow connections to either USB-A or USB-C ports on the host machine. The drive is lightweight and very fast. I use this drive to backup my NAS device. It is small enough to store in a fire safe for off-line storage.

I’ve had this HDD for about 14 months now. I usually wait a while to write reviews for the products I buy, but this thing has been fantastic. Very fast and the two included cables ensure that I can connect it with my newer and older machines. I’ve used this HDD more than any other for the last year. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to buy it.

This was the 2nd T7 Shield I've purchased, first was for my car (works GREAT) and this one is for my Desktop computer for backup (mostly for all of the photos!) Very pleased with the quality, speed and ease of use.
