I am in the process of gathering and organizing a boat load of Media. I purchased two of these 2 TB drives. I have always been a fan of Samsung drives=, but these T7 drives are amazing. Small, easy to carry. They are lightning fast as far a data transfer, which has made this project much easier and faster. If you are looking for a solid SSD solution, you will not go wrong here.

Your upload and download speeds will be fast. A compact yet durable SSD can handle any task.

Great hard drive for the price. Super fast read/write speeds and very reliable. I have several of these and haven't been disappointed. Good price considering SSD prices but cheaper would be better.

I use Samsung SSDs frequently as a filmmaker. They are compact and easy to take on the road; I can copy over footage quickly; and editing videos with them is fast and reliable.

Overall, I really like it. It is easy to setup & easy to use. And it is pretty fast. 1 thing that would make it even better would be if it came with a way to Synch so that Additions or Modifications to the original source (my PC) would be automatically ID'd and applied the External Drive. Instead of my having to Copy ALL or ask myself, "Now, What did I actually do today? Did I create or edit any Word docs today, etc.?

I am a wedding photographer and this was recommended by someone else in the industry. It is super fast and has been reliable! I also love the compact size and am a fan of the color. Will buy again.

The Samsung T7 Shield 1TB was super easy to unbox and set up right out of the package. Connecting it via USB-C was seamless, and transferring data was fast and smooth. Perfect for quick backups and on-the-go use—no hassle at all.

Very compact and sturdy. Comes with Samsung software called Magician to protect manage the contents of the drive. More user friendly and good interface. Transfer speeds are really amazing. Compatible with both my laptop and IPad. Definitely worth for the price and reliability.

VERY small and lightweight! I I love the color, the quality of the silicone cover and most importantly the performance! Much better than any hard drive I’ve previously used.

a bunch of storage and great product the only thing i would say get this if you know how to use it because its a whole process and it can be scary

I am someone who is careful of my data/photographs and use external devices as backup for my Computer and data needs. This drive is an SSD .. small, compact, quiet -- and it does work (I did accomplish my backup of data in an appropriate length of time - and it was verified because I always do a random check afterwards, and the files were there and usable. All in all, I'm pleased so far (and it's not been that long owned), but I suspect this will be a way for me to rotate inbetween other hard drive backups so that I don't risk losing the files I have created. COST was also appropriate - I purchased while on sale on Best Buy and it was comparable to (slightly higher) than traditional HDD Drives. (NOTE -- I can't verify the water resistance factor -- I'm not yet ready to dunk hard drives into water to prove that!)

Convenience would be the key word here. The T7 is lightweight and very durable. It's great for backing up files and general storage. The speeds are much faster than expected. I recommend this purchase.

This drive is fast, compact, and easy to use. It comes with both USB-A and USB-C cables so you can connect it to your system as long as you have an open port. It supports Mac and Windows and was pretty much just plug and play.

So far, this has worked great!! I’ve had it a month now, it’s travelled with me to Europe annd back, and it does exactly what I expect it to - I store all my photos on it and edit them on my laptop. It’s fast, small, and works great!

Not an awful lot to say. After my "competitor brand" external HD began showing signs of failing I quickly ran out and got another Samsung. They also came highly recommended by my computer repairman who said he never gets anyone in the shop for problems with their Samsung drives.

I have this same external stirage in black. Its easy to use. Can set up a file organizational sysyten with folders and files. Good transfer speed and easy to pmug and play. Highly recommend.

It works great for me. I am not one that gets real technical about measuring speeds. All I know is it works faster than other drives I have. On sale it was a great price for a 2TB, others were much higher in price. Love the outer shell for durability in the event I need to take it with me and accidentally drop it.
