Has a good sound quality for its size. My wife and I Enjoyed our favorite show watching it on the ceiling of our bedroom while lying in bed. We cant wait to try it the next time we camp out.

Speaker volume and clarity is s excellent for it's size. Picture quality is very good, i am able to view movies very well in low light conditions.

No regrets with this purchase, I would highly recommend this projector. Phenomenal picture, with impressive sound. Even bought this as an open box(excellent). Money well spent!

Great device when it worked

Set up was quick and easy and once you get the mini HDMI cable it connects to any device with an HDMI port. However after anout a week it turned off and never turned back on. Best buy was more than willing to fix or replace it but the damage was done and i was no longer intetested in it.

Solid 1080p video presentation. Easy to use…didnt even open the instruction manual. Has all the apps to stream to it. Bluetooth speaker connection makes it very compatible. Great buy…definitely recommend.

Got it for a boxing night party we hosted and it was perfect. Fmaily and friends even complimented us on the set up we had ! We do family movie nights and now the weatheris hot we plan on doing a pool night / movie night

Bad quality and customer service

Samsung customer support was very tedious and they offered an RMA on the device, but didn’t follow up on sending the details. Thankfully was able to return it to BestBuy. Would recommend another brand as the quality and lumens of this one leave something to be desired. Navigating with the remote is also very tedious, wish it ran Android or some other interface.

I am sorely disappointed, and for the price...makes it deceiving to believe it's worth it. The apps are completely missing! There's no way to cast/mirror this device, no internal battery (nor backup battery avail), and no way to ADD more apps! Completely frustrating to the point where's I may truly return this device and wait for Samsung to do better!

I'm sorry to hear you're not fully enjoying The Freestyle. In addition to the pre-installed options, please know you can install, delete, and update apps to suit your preferences. From the projector's Home screen, navigate to and select APPS, and then select the Search icon in the top-right corner. Next, enter the app you want to download and select it. You will see detailed information about the app. From here, select Install. Your projector must be connected to the Internet to see all available apps.
You can also watch the screen of your mobile device on the Projector screen through Smart View or Tap View on Android devices or AirPlay with iOS devices.
Go to: Home > Menu > Connected Devices > Connection Guide > Smartphone, and select Screen Sharing (Smart View) for Android devices, or Apple AirPlay to cast from an iOS device.
Please also be sure your firmware is up to date with version 1095.4, which includes various performance updates. You can check this by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
Additionally, please know you can use a portable battery charger with 50 Watt output/PD (Power Delivery) with DC 20V.

The only fact I don’t like from this it’s that there is like little light outside the of the screen. I have them 8.5/10.

We appreciate your feedback on The Freestyle's brightness level. If the image is too dim, try adjusting Picture Mode, Contrast, Brightness, or Sharpness settings.
Go to Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
...and select the mode that best fits your usage:
Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments
Movie: Is suitable for watching Projector or movies in a dark room.
You can also manually fine tune your image under Expert Settings. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings
Please also be sure you’re running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your projector is using and if there is an available update through the settings by going to: Settings > Support > Software Update.

Sometimes, connected Smart devices send abnormal "power on" signals through the wireless network that triggers the projector to turn itself on. If you do not want this function, navigate to Menu > Settings > All Settings > Connection > Network > Expert Settings > Power On with Mobile, and turn the setting off.
