Speaker volume and clarity is s excellent for it's size. Picture quality is very good, i am able to view movies very well in low light conditions.

The only fact I don’t like from this it’s that there is like little light outside the of the screen. I have them 8.5/10.

Solid 1080p video presentation. Easy to use…didnt even open the instruction manual. Has all the apps to stream to it. Bluetooth speaker connection makes it very compatible. Great buy…definitely recommend.

Great device when it worked

Set up was quick and easy and once you get the mini HDMI cable it connects to any device with an HDMI port. However after anout a week it turned off and never turned back on. Best buy was more than willing to fix or replace it but the damage was done and i was no longer intetested in it.

Bad quality and customer service

Samsung customer support was very tedious and they offered an RMA on the device, but didn’t follow up on sending the details. Thankfully was able to return it to BestBuy. Would recommend another brand as the quality and lumens of this one leave something to be desired. Navigating with the remote is also very tedious, wish it ran Android or some other interface.

Horrible waste of money

It probably wouldn’t be so painful if Samsung TV plus didn’t load by default but it does and despite deleting the app, it still remains on the projector. It is also probably the dullest projector I’ve ever seen. You need to be in a completely dark room for it to be visible otherwise the image is impossible to make out. I found that my unit in particular wouldn’t stay online, and no matter where it was in relation to the Wi-Fi router, it would fall, off-line fairly consistently. Stay away, do not buy!!

We appreciate your feedback on the response time, and for optimal performance, we ask that you please ensure you've got the latest firmware version installed on your Freestyle Projector. You can check this by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
You may also want to further optimize performance with the self-diagnostic tool, which checks memory, frees up unused cached memory, and closes background apps. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care
Also, you can choose what your Projector does when you turn it on by going to Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Start Screen Option
1) Enabling Autorun Smart Hub automatically launches the Smart Hub when the Projector is turned on. Navigate to this option to enable or disable the feature.
2) If Autorun Last App is set to on, the last used app is automatically run when you turn on the Projector. You can turn this function on or off by pressing the Select button in the current menu.
If the image is too dim, try adjusting Picture Mode, Contrast, Brightness, or Sharpness settings.
Go to Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
...and select the mode that best fits your usage:
Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments
Movie: Is suitable for watching Projector or movies in a dark room.
You can also manually fine tune your image under Expert Settings. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings

Kind of annoying to use, the screen quality and sound is nice but not over $500 nice, expected way more out of this but there's not really much to it and I thought for the price the resolution outside with some sunlight would work better but no.
