Thank you for your review. Watching content for an extended period of time can cause the unit to generate heat, which is released through the vents on the projector. The vents may feel hot to the touch when the projector has been used for an extended period of time. This heat, however, is not a defect and doesn’t affect functionality. When in use, make sure you maintain a distance of at least 4 inches between the projector and other objects (walls, cabinet sides, etc.) to ensure proper ventilation.
Please also keep in mind that with voice recognition always enabled, the projector’s Wi-Fi and microphone modules remain active even when the power is turned off. If you feel heat even when the device is off, turn off AoV (Always on Voice) Mode.
To disable this setting, go to: Menu > Settings > General & Privacy > Voice
- Alexa: Turn off Voice Wake-Up
- Bixby: Under Bixby wake-up options, select “Only use the Bixby button” or “Additionally saying ‘Hi Bixby’”.

It is well worth it. Has taken the place of our tv. Enjoyed by all, recommend getting a micro hdmi adapter for better quality, we even connect our switch up to it.

Upon returning the item, I was charged a re-stocking fee that I thought would be waved since I was a Best Buy Total member that costs $179/year. After speaking to management, I was denied that charge even though I am a member, have rarely ever had returns and a loyal customer since 2005. I was charged almost $100 to return the item that was used for a total of maybe 15 minutes max and that I was dissatisfied with. This left me with a poor buying experience and now contemplating continuing to go to Best Buy for my shopping needs.

Great picture quality and neat sound, connects to any wireless speakers.
