Also I could never get the picture frame even it was always lower on one end.

I’m sorry to hear you’re not fully satisfied with The Freestyle’s brightness level and Auto Focus performance. Please check the following, which may improve the issues you’re experiencing:
1. Make sure you've removed the film covering the lens, as this can affect Auto Focus performance.
2. Position the device with the “Samsung” logo on the bottom of the unit.
3. Make sure you've got the latest firmware updates installed. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now
If the image is still too dim, try adjusting Picture Mode, Contrast, Brightness, or Sharpness settings.
Go to Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
...and select the mode that best fits your usage:
Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments
Movie: Is suitable for watching Projector or movies in a dark room.
You can also manually fine tune your image under Expert Settings. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings

Awful preorder decision

Colored wall correction plainly doesn’t work. The cradle that holds the unit is too weak to actually hold the unit in place, the picture doesn’t hold on the wall. It’s too slow to run HBOmax, Netflix and YouTube work fine. The ambient options are drastically underwhelming, and the “mood light” feature plainly isn’t there as well. Honestly kind of a bait and switch by Samsung. We were promised features that just aren’t there. The unit is also too slow to run AirPlay properly from a MacBook. Lots of lag. I am severely underwhelmed and disappointed by this product.

Solid Projector held back by Samsung Software

The software interface was laggy and I could only get it to work for me by putting a Google TV on it. Which i had to buy a few dongle to make it work as Samsung is using a mini hdmi which is not the standard in the US.

You may also want to further optimize performance with the self-diagnostic tool, which checks memory, frees up unused cached memory, and closes background apps. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care
