There are many wanna-be 4K Blu-Ray players out there, but this one is the hand's-down best. It does everythink you will want and costs wayyy too much - a house payment - but if you can wait, the cost always comes down. Costco even sells the same thing in their stores, but with their own model number. Too bad that Panasonic fell off the planet with regards to 4K - they previously owned the Plasma TV market. Time for Panasonic to go the ways of the buggy whip, thylacine & dodo bird. So, get a loan and buy this sucker - you won't be disappointed.

Nothing really exciting to share here, it plays 4k disks as one would expect from a 4k player. Paired with Denon AVR and LG 65" OLED, and movies look great. Even the upscaled Blu-rays look as if 4k (almost). Only complaint is that the remote buttons feel a little clumsy and I prefer separate buttons between fast forward/reverse and chapter advance/rewind (instead this remote has one set of buttons to do both - quick press advances/rewinds chapter and holding down triggers fast forward/rewind). But..... I guess I shouldn't sweat the "small" things...

As of this writing this is the only native 4k disc player you can buy, but it is a revelation. The images go beyond just sharper, they're fundamentally more vivid, lifelike, something beyond film and video. Just superb. A no-brainer for the film lover.

I bought this for future proofing. I had a BluRay player with 802.11n and Netflix would constantly buffer and downgrade the resolution. I thought it might be my cable internet. I upgraded to fiber and the same thing. I got this player with 802.11ac and Netflix rarely buffers other than the beginning and I am getting the HD resolution I am paying Netflix for. I also have a 4K Bluray player when I upgrade my projector once prices come down.

if you have a 4k t.v then you truly need to buy this ACTUAL 4k blu-ray dvd player. it is amazing I love it. The picture is great. Don't be fooled by other 4k dvd players that say 4k upscaling, meaning its almost like 4k imaging and won't play 4k DVDS.

This is a pricey unit but worth it if you want to feel the true 4k immersion of movies when this is paired with a Samsung tv you do not even need to change source its done for you. You still have to put the disc in tho that's still not done for us :)

This 4K player is easy to use and works well when paired with a Samsung 4K television. Truly enjoy the quality but it does take time to connect after powering on. Also the price is a little high.

I have my 4K BD player connected to my 1080p Samsung HDTV using a 4K HDMI cable. Not sure if I am imagining it, but the color seems a LOT richer now. One day I will update to a 4K HDTV. I can start building my 4K library now.

This Blu-Ray player is the only one on the market that I could find that will actually read 4K UHD Blu-Ray disks and output as full 4K video stream. All the others would "up-convert", which is not nearly as high a quality. Also, the smart apps on this machine are top-notch and easy to use, and it has a full-fledged browser, which is not easy to find, either. It is very easy to use and is very intuitive. Highly recommend this player.

my Review of this product is unbelievable in the respect that even though I only have a 4-K television but not a HD R television it plays my DVD's including blue ray in a super way. I give Samsung 5 stars in putting together a machine that does this. The color and clarity is outstanding and even though some complained about the remote it works for me. It is wonderful that you can program it to turn off and on the TV. Even though you are supposed to have a HDR TV to get the enjoyment of Ultra HDR Videos I have one and it still is great

I had some issues with blinking red light on the system and it not sending any video. After swapping out the HDMI cable which worked for other devices (pc) outputting at 4k and turning off anyconnect+ it worked for me. Good DVD player but as I have a 2014 model that doesn't fully support HDR it isnt much different thanthe upscale

I have a 55" Samsung UHD 4K Smart TV. Lately, my old Blu-Ray player seemed to be having compatibility issues with my TV. I needed a new one. I checked the Net for the latest model and settled on this one. I also wanted a Samsung, because I figured that it would match up well with my TV. This player was easy right out of the box. I hooked it up, synched it up with my router, and I was in business. The picture quality is great and the BluRays and 4K discs work great - no pauses or skips. I would recommend this player to anyone.

I was lucky enough to get this at best buy on sale. If I had paid full price it's still unbelievable. It upscales everything. It has smart apps built in as well as wireless. Unreal clarity when watching a 4k dvd. I'm in the country so my download speed is not as fast a cable. When watching 4k on netflix I think I'm only getting 1080p. None the less I'm impressed. Be warned, after watching shows in 4k , nothing measures up.

4 k feature paired with 4k television produces a great picture, upscale feature makes 1080p blu reys look very good, for the current price of 4k video, I prefer the 1080p up scaled. I am pretty picky about the picture quality, so I spent quite a while adjusting the player, the player has quite a few settings that can be adjusted. I purchased the player on sale around Christmas and feel that I got a great deal. I have had trouble moving apps into the my apps feature, they don't move like described in the operating manual. The salesman said he could not show me how to move or delete apps, because his player at the store was not connected to the internet.

After testing an Xbox One S, I'm extremely happy with this 4K player. The Xbox user interface was overkill for me, likely because I'm a Mac guy as opposed to Windows guy. It was just too much. The user interface of the Samsung 4K player is simple and clean. The thing just works and run high quality output, as expected from 4K. I've also played DVDs and Blu-Rays and the upscaling is pretty impressive. I wouldn't pay the normal price of $400, but if you can get it on sale for $200 or $250, it's well worth the expense.

I found this BlueRay player to be easy to setup, and easy to use. The quality so far has been well within my expectations for a Samsung product. Love the 4K on my Samsung 8 series TV.

The LG Soundbar was purchased to go with my new 55" LG OLED tv. It was a great companion as its slim design allowed for easy and discreet installation with my TV. While the soundbar it barely next to the TV, It clearly makes it presence known with it's powerful and rich sound. Setup took a matter of minutes, and quickly I had immersive sound to accompany my 4K tv. Main downside to this soundbar is the LG app. Could be easier to find in the app store and provide for a more user-friendly setup. However, without the app, the soundbar worked perfectly with the LG tv with a simple optical audio cable and a few quick clicks on the tv screen.

The player is awesome, fast, web connected, loads well. But the remot is tiny and not fully functional. using a universal is better. 4k movies play with no problems, sound is good too.

Amazing and fast true UHD player. The only thing I don't like about is the remote control. It's horrible and I accidentally polish the wrong button all the time. I love the picture definitely worth the purchase

Play's the 4k movies with atmos looks and sounds Great. easy to use and setup. And will play anything, from 4k to standard DVD and more.
