Customers are saying
Customers are impressed with the USB Type C-to-3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter's compatibility, sound quality, and ease of use. Many appreciate its compact size and affordable price, finding it convenient for everyday use. A common concern is the lack of a headphone jack on newer devices, necessitating the use of this adapter. Some users also wish for additional color options beyond the currently available white.

Frequently disconnects / stops playback
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was sad that they did away with the 3.5mm jack on the galaxy s20. I thought this would be a good solution, but the usb-c port seems to fit just loose enough to cause it to randomly stop playback while on my pocket. I caved and bought some Galaxy Live Buds. They work much better.

Don't know what it's good for
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is no fault of Best Buy - it's a samsung issue. This jack does not work because it doesn't properly fit the things you're trying to plug into it. I bought it to hopefully be able to use a square reader on my Samsung Note 10+, which now has the usb type c connector, but the square reader that plugs in (to swipe credit cards with no chip) only fits in a regular phone Jack (not sure what to call it - the space headphones go on older phones). I though it would work with the square reader, but it doesn't. So I thought, no problem, I'll keep it to be able to use my old earbuds (samsung earbuds) as a backup, the earbuds that only can be used with the old "jack" (not type c connector) on older samsung phones. This product doesn't work for that either. I looked up online and apparently many people say the same thing. I'm not sure what this usb type c headphone connector is suppose to be good for -- it doesn't say anywhere. I ended up returning the item. Shame on samsung.

Horrible sound.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This adapter is horrendous. I have a GS9+ yes that still has a headphone jack on it. But I'm a tech enthusiast. So I try all the latest and greatest so my family doesn't have or get well informed suggestions when they upgrade some piece of tech in their life. I have used the razer hammerhead USB C headphones and razer's USB C to 3.5mm adapter and that adapter sounds amazing. This one by Samsung is atrocious. As is the one by apple and Google. I bought this Samsung one. Tried it in the parking lot and returned it the store with in 20 minutes of purchase. Sound is terrible. Max volume was half has loud as if I just used the 3.5mm headphone jack my phone had. The audio sounded muddy muffled as if I just dropped my phone in water. And also as if I was 20 feet from my phone. Take the 16 dollars that this adapter costs and buy the razer usb-c to 3.5mm adapter instead. Just look out for device compatibility. As not all devices will work with the microphone. Especially if you still have a 3.5mm headphone jack.
