I was hesitant to get a new phone without a mic jack, but unfortunately they don't make many with one any longer. This solved the problem. The only concern is if you're going to be on for a long time and need the phone up, you may need to buy an adapter that has both power and USB C to 3.5mm.

Adapter works

It was a little irritating to need an adapter to begin with. But, it was only $10 which is way cheaper than switching to Bluetooth everything. The actual item works well. I have no complaints with the item.

Ear plug adapter

My old galaxy came with ear plugs. T-Mobile did not have the ear plugs for purchase in the store, plus they were overpriced on their website. This adapter that I purchased from Best Buy was much cheaper, and worked perfectly.

Good workaround for lack of 3.5mm headphone jack

I understand why they no longer come with 3.5mm phone jacks for liquid ingress protection. I purchased Bluetooth earphones but the audio quality just didn't cut it for me, so I decided to buy this adaptor to allow me to use my quality headphones. Much better audio!! I was glad that I had a $10 Bonus Certificate to offset the cost on this "fix" to the lost headphone jack.
