When I Initially purchased my Samsung Galaxy NoteS20 Ultra, I in my excitement(also heartbreak for my wallet) I failed to realize or simply wasn't paying attention that the phone didn't have a 3.5mm Aux port, So when I mentally Registered this need to know knowledge at the Last moment before finalizing my Purchase, I snagged this up to add in. Yes, I knew I would've been able to purchase this adapter at Walmart or another Retail of similarity for $5 or less, I still put up the $ 12 for Samsung's namebrand version. I didn't think much of this adapter until I had forgot This at home, which resulted in purchasing a ONN brand adapter for $4 give or take via WalMart. Normally I'm the person who preaches that major Name Brand & off Brand have No difference. 100%, Samsung's adapter MollyWapp's the off brand all day Long in Quality. I say this due To the immediate noticeable difference in sound Quality and Base Volume Output. The Off brand was not at all Horrible by any means as I own multiple for back up's( Incidentally kept misplacing adapters When needing them, Pick up replacement then find said missing item after the fact) But After using the Samsung at Start Off, I was able to notice that their Adapter has visible higher base Volume Output and the base out put for Pitch is noticeably more Profound and Leveled. Don't get Me wrong, I'm not at all knocking the offbrand/Lesser known brand adapter's but in Quality means, The Samsung adapter has better base Output and has Evident better Durability as the cording Link between USB-C & 3.5mm female end of the adapter is noticeably thicker and Less flimsy feeling than the ONNbrand. A no frills universal earphone dongle that is so easy to use and a world of doors open up to continue to use your wired earphones that it is ridiculous nnot to get one for all you sleww of earphones you can have at your house. Very easy to use, you can connect it wit an Iphone as well. Cheaper than Apple's version, you can not miss with it. Best of luck.

Does what it should do. It's small enough that it doesn't get in the way and you can barely tell it's there.

Product works as advertised, I use if with my Galaxy S22 Ultra which doesn't have an aux port. Hooks up to my car's radio via aux and works perfectly.

Since Samsung has now gone the Apple route of not having a dedicated headphone jack on its new Galaxy Tab S6 tablet and the Galaxy Note 10, you have two options. You can use wireless Bluetooth headphones or you can use this USB-C headphone adapter. I still prefer to use my own wired headphones and the adapter lets me do that. It does what it's supposed to, nothing more, nothing less.

This accessory does exactly as expected, converts the charging port into a 3.5mm auxiliary/headphone port if you don't have both built in on your phone (which most of the newer phones do not) and prefer or require the use of a hard connection to headphones/speaker(s). Highly recommend as it is a well made product that will likely last beyond the life of your current phone.

While this seems like a simple adapter of sorts, not many people are aware that it also serves as a DAC (digital to analog signal convertor). DACs are used to decode digital files from, most likely in this case, your phone's storage, into audible music that plays through your earbuds or headphones. The higher the bitrate of the file and the ability of your DAC to read and convert that file result in the quality of the audio produced. This inexpensive dongle adapter serves as a 24-bit converter, which is actually quite good for such a small inconspicuous little device. So, while it is inconvenient that the modern smart phone is abandoning 3.5mm jacks, at least the adapters we now must rely on for connecting serves another purpose, which is making sure that your music files (as long as they are of a good quality themselves) sound good. While it's not the most powerful device out there and won't power high impedance audiophile headphones well, it manages to serve it's purpose and it meets the needs of most. I for one find that it translates my music files into some pretty good quality music through my Tin T2 IEMs, albeit not as well as most dedicated devices built to serve the same purpose. Can't ask for much more from this little thing at this price!
