Stopped working

I bought this Samsung adapter in hopes I could use my good quality Sony 3.5 mm wired headphones with my phone's usb c port, but after a few months this stopped working. I contacted Samsung because the product was still under warranty and it was a huge hassle. Eventually they refunded me the 15 bucks after I mailed them the defective or poorly made adapter but it was very irritating and took a lot of time to talk to them.
