The product is very compact. It's fast and very simple to use. By simply placing the phone over the device, the phone is charge wirelessly. No need to ever worry about broken chargers, with the Samsung Wireless Chrager, the user can easily and quickly remove the phone without effort. This is handy if one is on the go or likes tidy areas.

I got this charger for free with my Galaxy S6 purchase, and although I like it, it's not perfect. It works fine and I'm happy to have it, but sometimes it stops charging my phone, just randomly. Now whether it's the phone or the charger I'm not sure but I have to assume it's the charger because it's undermount light starts blinking, while there's no notification from my phone of any issues.
Besides that issue, the only other thing I don't like is that sometimes I have to put my phone down on it more than once. What I mean is, sometimes I put my phone on it and nothing happens, then I pick my phone up and put it back down and BAMN, it works and starts charging. I don't know what it is but it just happens sometimes. I know it likes the phone centered so when I put it down it's already centered so it's not like I'm repositioning it; I'm simply picking it up from center and putting it back down on center.
So, it has it's quirks. The main thing is though, it works.

When I pre-ordered the Galaxy S6 Edge, the wireless charging pad was included. First, I am amazed by how quickly the S6 Edge charges via USB. But the wireless charging pad takes charging a step further.
I primarily use the product in an office environment. If I am busy and need to charge my phone, I can place it on the wireless charging pad. Previously, I had to fiddle around with cords. Additionally, it is so much easier to take with me when I have to go to a quick meeting.
The only downside is having to place the phone on the pad in the right position. If it is off just by a little bit, either the pad's sensor does not detect the optimal area on the back of the phone to initiate the wireless charge, or it does, but it keeps disconnecting and reconnecting.
I also have a Spigen cellphone case, which is thick. It is TPU along with a plastic cover that surrounds my phone. I was happy to find out that my case did not interfere with the wireless charging pad.

I picked up the Samsung Wireless Charger for my Galaxy S6 Edge when the phone first came out, and have been extremely pleased with it! Although it doesn't quick charge like the included fast charger, it does an excellent job in charging the phone. The LED light lights up blue when the phone is charging and turns green when it is fully charged. It is easy to place on the charger and charging will begin. If you don't put it directly on the center plate, it may not charge, but you would really have to have it off to the side for it not to charge. Would definitely recommend to anyone who would like wireless charging with their phone!

This is the first wireless mobile phone charger I've ever owned, so I can't compare to other similar products, but overall, I like the product. The best thing about it is that it saves your charging port. Samsung is the only brand of phone I will buy, but they are known for below average charging ports. If something is going to go out or need replacement on your Samsung mobile device, chances are, it will be the charging port. The wireless charger will held "preserve" that part of your phone. The thing I am disappointed in the most, is the length of time it takes for my phone to charge, when using this device. It's much longer than I had expected it would take. I like the size of the charger. It's not to big which makes it convenient to travel with or place just about anywhere. The price was right, which was a big plus, for me. I would recommend the wireless charger to other Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge owners.

Okay, the ability to just set the phone down and charge it is undoubtedly cool. The blue LED light ring that illuminates below the charging pad disk offers a slick look, but if too close to the bed at night could be a bit annoying for some. I like the device, but it does charge much slower than the plug-in charger that comes with S6, so be prepared to watch those %'s tick up at a slow pace. I've also read that inductive charging is not great for the life of a battery because it creates extra heat... so leaving it on the charger all night could be a battery killer in the long-run (not sure about this). But overall, I'm glad S6 has wireless, and glad for this charger -- but even more glad that I took advantage of Best Buy's "free charger" offer when I bought the phone!

I love wireless charging. Its a great feature. The problem with this new form of charging is that you must plop the phone onto the pad in just the right spot to hear the acknowledgment tone that charging has begun. If you move it a bit or place it down too softly it won't charge. Adding to this is sometimes it stops charging for no reason. And once it reaches a full charge it stops trying to charge and won't restart. What this means is once your phone hits 100% charged the charger turns off and by the time you wake up in the morning to grab your phone the battery has discharged down to 89% or so and will continue to discharge unless you lift it up and plop it back down to restart the process. This needs to be improved.

Samsung's wireless charger came bundled with my S6 pre-order. (It was one of the reasons I bought it from Best Buy instead of AT&T.) It's really neat. You sit the phone on the charger and it would charge - no hard-to-find sockets to plug in. But it was quirky: sometimes charging would stop before reaching 100% (from 90% - 94%), sometimes you have to play with the position of the phone on the charger to get the juice flowing, and sometimes it plain wouldn't work, so you had to unplug and replug. Finally, I brought it in for an exchange. Apparently, other customers have had similar problems with it and Best Buy gave me a new one, no questions asked. Now, it works fine... so far.

When the time came for my family to upgrade their phones, almost everyone wanted the new iPhone 6. They all had android phones but were convinced that the best one to get was the iPhone and yes, they are all very happy with their iPhones. As for myself, while I'm an Apple fan, I'm a bit tired of Apple saying their the best when they're actually behind in technology. I compared the Samsung Galaxy S6 to the iPhone 6 and found that Samsung is about two years ahead in technology and features. The S6 has a quad HD screen as compared to Full HD, faster processors, a 16 MP camera as well as a 5 MP front facing camera, and wireless charging. I'm very pleased with the call clarity and how well the phone adapts to different networking configurations. I would highly recommend the Samsung Galaxy S6 to those who want an excellent phone with superior technology.

I purchased an OtterBox Commuter Series Case along with my SG6, and I was skeptic when I was upgrading that the sales associate said the wireless charger would work even if I used a case. I kept the box expecting that I would be taking this item back, but to my surprise, it works pretty well. Naturally, you don't get immediate feedback when you set it down to charge, it takes about 10 seconds for the phone to beep and the screen to light up indicating charging. That delay results in some paranoia that prevents me from rating this a 5 star product. However, I find myself using the wireless charger every night.

Wireless Charging is Extremely convenient

Purchased this item to simplify life. When I come home, I'm usually looking around for a charging cord for my phone. Now, I just place my phone on the charging pad and it starts charging immediately. Not as fast as the new adaptive chargers but still very convenient. It can also be used by others in the family who have a similar feature on their phones. Starbucks has recently installed similar technology in their stores to make wireless charging simple and easy to do and even lends you an adapter if your phone doesn't have wireless charging capability.

I'm fairly impressed that this works, even though I have an Otterbox Defender cover on my S6. I was worried that it may not function properly, but it seems fine. You do have to place the phone just as it's shown on the directions (the pictures on the little tab of paper that comes with it), or it won't charge.
I also like that it uses a micro-usb charger to power it, so that if I'm traveling and have more than one device that uses that charger, I can just take the one, and still have the convenience of the wireless charger for the phone.

Great product, but the technology isn't new. Since I use this with the S6Edge, it would be nice to charge it face down to fully utilize the colored lights and edge features. This isn't a possibility with this charger (or any wireless charger) that I am aware of. When my phone is charged, it lights up the screen and that can be distracting when I'm sleeping. I much prefer it to be face down, so while I give the charger 4 stars - because it does work exactly as described), it's not really convenient for my needs.

Received this item as a bonus for pre-ordering but likely would have bought it anyway. It's really handy to just lay the phone on top for charging since often you pick it up for casual use; calculator, games , etc. You don't have to worry about the cord all the time. Charge time seems normal while the plug-in charger the phone comes with is really fast. Some times you have to re-position the phone to start the charging, likely it will earn a fifth star when I get used to the device.

I was a little disappointed that the wireless charger did not actually come with the phone but I accepted having to shell out the $50 for the convenience of having it. But it does not always fully charge the phone overnight. This may have something to do with the placement on the device and maybe the military grade case I have for it?
In it's defense it does charge the phone quickly if it's perfectly placed.
I definitely would not return it, I like the convenience!

Works ok but the instructions say you have to unplug when not in use...so this kind of defeats the purpose for me since I'm always rushing and just wanna throw it on there. Along with that is the fact that if you don't place it correctly it won't charge your phone. Other than that, it is pretty cool and does the job... plus it was free with my s6 so I don't have too much to complain about. It's definately an extra in my home, great when you have 4 Samsung devices!

This charging pad came free with my new Samsung Galaxy S6, and I have to say, I would have paid for it! It doesn't charge as quickly as the fast charge cable that came with the phone, but it is great to be able to just throw my phone down on it while I'm working or watching tv, and to be able to pick it up whenever I want without the hassle of being attached to a cable in the wall! Take advantage of the built in wireless charging capabilities of the S6!

The charger is a neat accessory to the s6 line. While it is handy to charge the phone wirelessly, the charger does have its quirks. I notice a harsh blue light coming from the charger at night which could be bothersome. The other issue is that the phone hangs overtop of the plate which means that the phone must be centered on it for the charging to begin. Other than that the charger is nice. I unfortunately cannot discuss price as it was a free bonus.

I like using this charger (especially since it was free with pre-order of S6) as I don't have to worry about plugging in a cord and can just grab it any time I get a notification and place it back down.
My only complaint about it is once your battery is fully charged, it will not maintain a charge, so it begins to discharge and you can only get it to charge again by lifting it and putting it back on the charger. Since it only takes 2 hours to charge, when I wake up it's been off the charger for 4-5 hours and usually down 5-8% from full charge. Would work well as a secondary charger at your desk.
