It did take a bit to learn the spot for the phone, but once you know it, we’ll, you know it. Charge overnight and ready for the next day. Great purchase!

We just place them on top, and the charging begins, even through protective covers. The bad: It advertises that it charges watches. It doesn't. I've tried and tried, set the watch on, adjusted it, etc. The charging light shows, but later it starts blinking red, showing a malfunction. Fortunately I have my Samsung watch charger, but this does lie about that function.

After 5 hours on the charging pad, my cell phone only got to 72% and was so hot. My samsung watch and samsung buds live were charged after longer than usual but the watch was so hot that I could not immediately wear it. Samsung products are usually very good so I was very surprised by that. It's possible I may just have had the misfortune of getting a bad device.

*Cases more than 3mm thick may cause wattage to drop and produce heat, resulting in longer charging times.

The Importance of Perfect Placement

If bumped, charging will cease. (That seems perhaps obvious, but it isn't obvious that placement might move by a fraction and cause it to cease charging.) It should be more forgiving.
