I love the 2 main actors in this film. They work well together and I have seen them work together before. A lot of GREAT special effects. Even though there is no way anyone could maneuver through that much rubble and obstacles I still loved it.

Yes it can be far fetched but what movie isn't? the destruction, and the graphics are worth every penny and the actors and actresses are worth it as well. this is a movie where if you bought it, you'd watch it again, and again, and also tell your friends to check it out.

This was a throughly entertaining movie enhanced with wonderful, believable computer graphics! This movie wouldn't win any awards for excellent acting, but the special affects and adventure intensity were great! Will make you wonder if this event could really happen,..?

As a fan of disaster movies, non-stop action keeps you wanting more, and getting it. Similar to "2012" but not as many lulls in the action. If you want realism, you'll be disappointed, it goes overboard, but that's what these movies are all about.

This movie is good. The 3-D was fine. It's just as good as it was in the movie theater. I just feel like the 3-D is a little lackluster overall. I saw the movie in the movie theater and I have a DVD for home. It's just the same just OK .

I love this movie great story good action scenes and the 3-D in this movie is outstanding every time I go to watch this movie I have to watch it in 3-D if you love 3-D movies this one is a must watch!

For all the spectacle and CGI, what I enjoyed the most about this film was Johnson's performance as well as some of the other cast members. Johnson has grown into a capable actor and brings some gravitas to an otherwise summer/popcorn flick.

I enjoyed this film very much. D. Johnson does an excellent job in the movie and the young actors performed very well also. Liked the realistic effect of the catastrophe and the underlying story of dedication to saving a child at all costs.

Quite frankly I didn't expect much from this movie but was pleasantly surprised when it kept me on the edge of my seat the whole movie. Highly recommend it and the sound effects were great my subwoofer kept my seat vibrating the whole movie.

I loved this movie. I actually saw it in IMAX and the movie was that much more intense to watch. The catastrophic sequences are heart pounding and you just can't get enough of the what if or what's going to happen next like it can't get any worse. Awesome movie!

This version comes with 3D blue ray, DVD, and a digital copy that they don't tell you about. No 2D blue ray unfortunately. I bought it on sale for about $20. It includes some special features including deleted scenes.

The Rock was good and believable. I was very impressed with the female characters. Strong acting that stayed away from the typical scream and panic approach. They had their "Holy S***" moments, and also took lead with determination. Graphics were good.

Movie: Dwayne Johnson vs a swarm of earthquakes. Can't go wrong with that. Add in a solid cast, the required heel who will eventually die, and great direction and special effects that never detract from the action. What you end up with is a great popcorn movie.

This was a great movie. The Rock did a great job. His acting is getting better and better. The fact the Rock only was helping his family most of the movie was a bit unrealistic if this situation actually occurred. But overall great movie.

I was expecting lower production of CG and not good choicing in character actor casting, but I was pleasantly surprised by the acting and special effects. I would recommend checking this movie out especially in 3D.

LIKED THE ROCK & CARLA. THEY WERE IN RACE TO WITCH MOUNTAIN TOGETHER & THEY HAVE A GREAT CHEMISTRY TOGETHER. STORY OF THE BAD GUYS BEING FROM A GOVERNMENT AGENCY IS PROBABLY MORE TRUE TO LIFE, BUT WE CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH.

You can't tell from the packaging, but it has 3 discs (bluray, 3d bluray, dvd) and if you get this on sale for a good price, it's an entertaining movie to watch in 3d. No it will never win an award, but as a popcorn flick, it's fine.

Good movie but a little TOO unrealistic. Good plot and story line because of the fact that something like this could really happen one day but the special effects were just a little exaggerated. Still happy with the purchase, enjoy!

The movie is pretty good. Its mostly for disaster action movie lovers, but still worth seeing at least once. Cast is good and the visual and special effects are decent. Would recommend to anybody who appreciates that type of movies.

this movie rocks! (no pun intended). great special effects and action. you can really witness the horror of what a massive earthquake can be like. great acting and story. the rock has never let me down and his castmates are great as well. highly recommend
