This movie is exactly what it advertises. It is about the destruction caused by massive earthquakes along the San Andres fault that stretches down to the hoover dam. The trailer does not miss any thing.

Look, if you are looking for a great plot, wonderful acting, ground-breaking directing...this is not your movie. Looking to give your sub woofer a good workout? This big, dumb movie will do the trick.

This was not at all realistic. I think that his acting in this movie was more like his acting from the beginning of his career. With that being said I am glad that I watched it. It was entertaining.

All types of disasters rolled into one. Has romantic plot as with most movies. It is fast fun, tense and entertaining. Makes you think about living in California or any other earthquake prone area.

This movie wasn't going to win an Oscar, but is still a fun action movie. If you take it for what it is you'll have a good time seeing the rock do something the rest of us humans can't do.

This movie was great for an action flick but didn't do much to add the fear factor one would think it would from the title. The ending also left a lot to be desired, just kind of blah at the end.

I was shocked at how this movie did not blow me away, maybe it was my fault for having high expectations? Still very enjoyable, but not as much as a handful of other recent disaster movies.

This film is very predictable but on The downside it is OK but for a Bluray The Look and The Sound of this film is Great but The Film is Average just wait til Black Friday to buy this Film.

This is an Action Movie. Beyond that, not so much. You take it for what it is, Entertainment. Special Effects today are amazing. Acting, well that's not really the point here.

Not a bad movie with great special effects. And come on it has The Rock in it. Think it could have been better as it just seemed to cut the movie at its peak point. Just my opinion though

Props to the Rock, but this movie had a lot of CG and you could tell... I also quoted several lines before they were spoken... movie was very predictable. Would I watch it again? yes :)

This movie is so predicatable it's not even funny. It's a worse version of Day After Tomorrow, but with Alexandra Dadarrio in slow motion. Not even The Rock could save this trainwreck.

I'm a Dwayne Johnson fan, and this is why I purchased this movie. It was entertaining enough, and the visuals were fantastic, but the acting from supporting cast was just not up to par.

It was just an ok movie for me. I probably wouldn't watch it again. Seemed like they were trying to squeeze in as much special effect as they could at the cost of a decent story line.

I'm a fan of action movies. This movie kept my attention from start to finish. The 3-D effects were sufficient and not over done. I would recommend this movie to any action film fan.

Very Rock-like type movie with exciting action to match his physic. Good looking actors and actress. Highly imaginative events, close to unbelievable, only happens in the movies.

It's an okay movie. The plot was predictable. Completely unrealistic, but that's what movies are all about, it's NOT real. I'm a fan of The Rock so I'll watch anything he's in.

It's no Pacific Rim which has been the most impressive 3D I've seen, but this has its rewards. Movie is above average and the effects are well done. Who doesn't love The Rock?

San Andreas was entertaining with great special effects but kinda of far fetched as far as the story-line goes, with lots of impossibilities. Good entertainment however.

Didn't have the chance to see this movie in the theatres, so got it due to amazing Black Friday Sale price. Never expect it to be like the classic 'Earthquake' with Charlton Heston, and it was nothing close. The storyline was very simple and weak, concentered too much on the family and not enough of the main event. Special effects were good but again only used as unclear background. Just wish Hollywood could stop "reinventing the wheel" and seriously makes some good movies like the good old days!
