I know this is a thriller, but the entire movie was so far "out there" that it never engaged me. For me a movie has to have some semblance of reality, or at least someone I can relate to. This movie has neither.

The movie is entertaining, and the CGI is fun for the eyes. They took on a project that needed a lot more doom and destruction if it were to happen, they did a really bad job at showing the end of California.

this is one of the most unrealistic movies i've seen.. from the very beginning when they 'tip the hat' to the very end.. just don't expect it to be realistic and you might enjoy the movie for what it is.

Advertised and pictured as having a digital hd code. Ordered on website. When delivered there was no code nor did the cover show that there would be one. Figured it was a shipping error so I take it to Best Buy store. Nope, they tell me it isn't supposed to have a code. They don't even offer one with a code. I showed them my online purchase proving my claim and ended up getting a refund. Movie is good, cheap price but nowadays I almost always want the hd code. Don't buy this online if you want the code. You'll be disappointed.

Case was completely broken and smashed up. However when I returned it, the guys at Quakertown, PA were very friendly and couldn't believe how damaged it arrived and sincerely apologized. Was able to exchange it for the dvd i actually wanted (Star Trek Into Darkness) and even got a small refund back. I wouldn't purchase dvds online, from now on I personally will stick to purchasing them in store.

I've always enjoyed everythingthe Rock has played in, but this movie was pretty lame. My family was all in agreement this was his worse movie the Rock played in.

Not really a fan of the Rock or his movies... Found this movie for 10 bucks and decided to check it out on my 3D TV. Silly disaster movie, good special effects.

not a great movie, San Andreas is a video game, should have been made to that, this is about an earthquake that chases its victims, very unrealistic, action is ok

The story is very improbable and highly over acted. The 3D does have stunning scenery. Would have preferred to watch this on Amazon instead of owning.

I wasn't expecting a blockbuster but I was expecting something that would keep my interest. This move was predictable and nothing we haven't seen before..

Good special effects, cheese story line. It seems like they spent all of the money on the actors but didn't build a script around anything.

Good premise, but oh so formulaic....we' have seen this set piece before. Good CGi but nothing new.....actually a disappointment.

this is cgi dumpster fire that lacks the charm of ID4 or other fun disaster movies.

Just like the other end of the world movies but very intense. Its the daughter version of the day after tomorrow, if you're into that kind of movie.

I laughed, I cried, I kissed $20 goodbuy (probably why I cried ). I think the Rock needed to make a balloon payment or something.

I like The Rock as an actor, so I was excited for this. It felt more like a feature length high energy music video than a movie.

Not as much action as I was hoping for for a destruction movie. Acting was pretty terrible and the whole thing was very predictable.

Although the movie itself is pretty bad and the acting is terrible, there are plenty of bonus features that make the price worth it.

Sigh- another action/adventure. Dwayne Johnson is wasted in these movies. Please, please, put the man in a romance!

I like to watch 3D movies on my home TV and DVR. Usually very enjoyable but this movie and 3D effects were not so great.
